[When she woke up this morning, Yukiko was expecting it to be a normal day. Wake up, make sure the kids are fed, help Thorax with his business expenses, have a meal with the boyfriend and call it a day. But she had to make a detour at the newstand and get a few magazines, mainly if they had any leads on Calice or any supernatural things in the country. But she somehow accidentally grabbed a magazine without her knowledge, one that she wasn't interested in called 'Hitched'.
But she went on her merry way until the mentioned reading fell out of her stack and it caught the eyes of a housewife. And housewives...they like to gossip. Or ask very odd questions about dresses, dates, and themes, which annoyed Yukiko greatly once she knew what 'Hitched' was.
Why did these ponies believed she wanted to get married? And why the hell did housewives have the ability to multiply when it's not needed? What else could Yukiko do but run away and run quick? Once she got back to the Agency, she rolled down her scroll and had to ask a question.]
Are housewives usually obsessed with others getting married or is it the ponies I just ran into?

I mean it isn't like they got much more to talk about you know? Like getting married means you could end up a house wife and one of them.
[Visual]
I...I don't think I would be a good one.
[Visual]
Or they could brainwash you if they were desperate I guess. I mean I'm pretty sure housewives can't actually brainwash other ponies but it doesn't hurt to be careful.

Unfortunately yes, that does happen but they're loud obnoxious minority tends to run their image of a housewife. They often love to stick their noses into other's business to pass the time, or to perhaps mock others for other reasons I can't even fathom. It seems to be something that happens in any world. My advice is to just simply ignore them since they do it to get a reaction. Besides, they'll probably find something else to occupy them in no time at all.
Trust me, they will find things, take them out of context and make mountains out of molehills with them. Like recently because Margulis and I moved into our own house, they think we're married and...
[She can't keep a straight face and starts laughing.]
We are so totally not. I may have an open marriage back home but that doesn't mean I can't have platonic friends who just so happen to be the opposite sex as me.

[Yosuke's a moron, Kanji's a teddy bear, and Teddie's...well, Teddie.]
I'm sorry you had to go through that too.

That being said, the rumor mill is pretty intense around here, so expect at least a couple of ponies congratulating you on the upcoming nuptials.
