[There's been a real lack of bear lately, and what better time for a bearunion than during a bearmergency. In this case, it comes in the form of what looks like Kyouko yawning obnoxiously over the scroll. Someone was having a nap, if the bedhead is anything to go by. Topped with an adorable turtle, no less!

Although maybe not as obvious as, say, someone freaking out, anyone with any sense might figure this isn't Kyouko at all. It's just Teddie, scratching his temporarily new hair and ~~bearly~~ barely able to keep his eyes open.]

I think I need a haircut. [He yawns again, not all that bothered by the fact that his hair grew so much in one night. It's an easy fix, after all.] Anybody out there wanna help me out?

[Although this red bear sounds like Kyouko, they sure aren't pronouncing words like she does.]

An' come on, what've ya called me ever since we met?

...Teddie?

[Again, this is a very difficult concept for him to grasp. He'll get it eventually.

Speaking of her hair, he begins to run his paws through it, enjoying the sensation. If he wasn't sure it'd look like a total mess, he'd grow his own hair out this long.]

Kyouko. Kyo-chan. Whatever.

[ She runs her hair through her own, much shorter mop. ] We're th'same bears, jus' dif'rnt bodies. S'like th'Pokemon, remember?

Kyo-chan!!

[Okay, there we go.]

Wowie, you're lookin' great.

[There you go, Kyouko just said "wowie".]

You too. This is weird.

[ It's like looking into a mirror. The way he moves and talks, though, is enough to remind her constantly that that's her boyfriend in her body.

Which is still a little weird. ]

[While it's weird, Teddie appears as though he's accepted it already. As a creature that never stays in his true form anyway, changing shape isn't too much of a fuss. Provided that he remains something people would approach.]

Oh man, Sensei's gonna get all confused.

[He takes Peek off of his head and begins to stroke her shell.]

Oh! OH OH OH! I just got an idea!

... [ She blinks confusedly at him. Reaches for her snacks. Where is...

Oh. It's in her sweatshirt. Which Teddie is wearing. She reaches over and nicks the box of Pocky from his pocket. ] Yeah?

[ Focusing on candy right now. Candy's important. ]

[Candy is always important.]

How many people do ya think I can convince I'm Kyo-chan?!

[He seems far to eager at his own idea. It wasn't even an idea, more like a question.]

[ ... Oh. ]

Now there's an idea.

[ She tosses him the box. ] Listen, then. We gotta train ya in th'art of bein' Kyouko. Might be one o' th'most important lessons o' yer life.

[The box hits him in the face, but he's able to catch it before it hits the ground. Despite his lack of elegance, he flips his wrist daintily as he gestures to himself.]

Oh, I already know how to Kyo-chan, I've been practicing.

[That's right.]

Yeah? Okay, lessee. Yer audition begins now.

[ She crosses her arms and leans against the wall. ]

[Clearing his throat, he points up before yelling like a dumbass.]

I'M KYO-CHAN AND I'M GONNA EAT EVERYTHING!!

[And then he proceeds to run out the door, turtle in paw.]

... [ Face, meet paw. ]

S'a start.

[ She barrels after him. Gotta catch that bear. Man, he's quick. ]

[Speaking of quick, Teddie notices only momentarily how effortlessly it takes him to fly down the stairs. Normally he's just the tiniest bit worn, what with how...round he is. By the time he hits the fridge, though, the thought leaves his mind.

Once Kyouko finally reaches him, he'll be sitting in front of said fridge and caught in the middle of stuffing his face.]

[ And Kyouko, in the meantime, is panting by the time she gets downstairs. She clutches at her hair to use some magic from her gem to revive her, but she doesn't have a soul gem.

She doesn't have a soul gem.

The reality of this hits her in a cosmic one-two punch, because of course the punchline is that Teddie has a soul gem. ]

Oh my God.

[ She races into the kitchen. ] Teddie?...

[With two pieces of fruit sticking out of his mouth, Teddie turns towards Kyouko and offers a friendly wave. Peek even seems to be helping by munching on some of the lettuce that spilled out thanks to his kitchen rampage.]

Hmfpff!!

[ Is this it? Is this how being close to somebody might hurt them? She's really worried she's hurt Teddie somehow. And yet, on the other hand...

He looks completely ridiculous. Her old body does, anyway. ]

Hey. { She swipes one of the pieces of fruit from his mouth and eats it herself. What is bear saliva? ] No, okay, if yer gonna be me, ya gotta learn some things fur safety. [ She pulls the gem out of his hair and holds it up. ]

Ya know what this is. It was me. Now s'you.

[There's a very serious look on Teddie's face after she pulls the gem from his hair, a startled yelp just seconds before that. The fruit in his mouth drops into his lap as he comes to terms with his situation.

And then suddenly he begins to smile.]

I'm beautiful...

[ Her heart skips a beat. Good old Teddie. ]

Ya... ya gotta take care of it, okay? Don' let it get too far from ya. Use it when ya need ta fix yer tummy or any other part of yer body. I only seem like I can eat everythin', ya know?

[ She places it carefully into his paw. ] An' whatever ya do, if it starts gettin' dark? Ya tell me. We can't let that happen. [ And she's going to keep two careful eyes on that gem, too. ]

[Taking it back, Teddie places it gently in his hair, safe and sound and totally not going to crack anytime soon. A small hint of glee crosses his face, he's effectively wearing jewelry!]

Don't you worry, you can count on Teddie!

[He gives a reassuring nod, clearly unaware of what's at stake.]

[ Kyouko looks at him carefully. Not quite sure if he's grasping his situation or not.

Either way, she suddenly pulls him into a hug. She doesn't deserve him, she realizes that now. ]

[Oh. Surprise hugs. Teddie isn't sure what the occasion is, but he'd never say no to hugs. Eagerly, he throws his arms around her, squeezing her tight and nuzzling slightly. It's a little weird hugging someone who currently looks like you, but it's not that weird. Not to him.]

[ Shame and fear for him gnaw at her insides, that somehow he got stuck in her horrible body. Has to deal with what she did. She finally pulls away. ]

... Well, that fridge en't gonna empty itself, ya know.

[He gasps as he lets go, turning towards the fridge immediately. Even though Peek was supposed to help him out, she's still just going ahead at the same piece of lettuce.]

GAHH!! I can't bearlieve I forgot already! Quick! Shove that apple down my throat!!

[ Kyouko attempts (succeeds) a smile and tosses the apple at him. ]

Yer gettin' th'hang of it. But ta prove yer me, yer gonna haveta empty th'entire fridge.

[ Sorry, Agency. ]
