You know it's nice. There's a lot that I've gone through, even before this festival and there's a lot to be thankful for. That being said, I'm sure everyone has a chance to celebrate what they love and treasure, even in these trying times.

I don't have much to give to everyone, but if you want to stop by, I've gone and made some chocolate covered fruit. Strange though, I don't know why I opted to make them look the way they do.

[And the scroll is panned down to a small basket of chocolates, each one wrapped in glittering red and violet paper, in a distinct shape.]

In any case, Dame Trixie, I had fun on Nightmare Night. And everyone else I hope you had fun too.

Why are they in your fridge? Did you forget the last time you ate one?

,,, uh because it was delicious? Why? Is something supposed to happen when I eat them?

[Clearly not only the memory suppression had happened, but all fruit-related things didn't affect her anymore.]

(Her body did change after that whole mess, that much was certain, but...Twilight settles down.)

[Now Lyra was concerned. Something, from Twilight's panicked tone, DID in fact happen. She cast a glance at the innocently wrapped chocolates...]

...Those are Helheim fruit, Lyra. They're not supposed to be eaten under any circumstances. Doing so will turn you into a monster called Inves.

(Did she repress those memories? Couldn't be; she had them for so long...why would they bother her now?)

A... A monster...? But... I didn't eat just one, I ate several... I was so hungry this morning I munched on the first thing that was in my fridge.

... come to think about it, I wonder if that's why it was in a bag labeled "Don't eat"...

(Twilight sighs, though it's not entirely in annoyance.)

...Yes. That would probably be the reason.

(Though there's still the matter of why she kept them instead of disposing of them.)

On the positive side, you haven't changed, so maybe you've developed an immunity since then.

Well, at least this time my eating didn't turn me into a mean ol' monster... [She chuckled weakly as she looked at the fruits.]

I suppose I should dispose of the rest, just in case. I don't want anypony to get sick from them or worse.

Just one question: why'd I forget this? Was it that traumatizing?

I'd say it was, but this happened quite a while ago. You remembered it just fine, to the point where you even researched it. I still have some of the notes.

(There's a ruffling of papers in the background as Twilight remembers exactly where she left them.)

It must've been very recent.

Hmm... I remember working on some kind of project, probably to help research the elements and yet when I woke up this morning, I was super hungry. I didn't think anything different of it.

Eating the fruit did change your biological makeup. You were growing steadily immune to the effects, so maybe it finally reached its limit.

How are you feeling now?

Surprisingly good. I mean, I don't feel that overwhelming hungry feeling anymore and I feel great. Like there was enough juice this morning to top off breakfast, y'know?

[A odd analogy but Lyra was placing the chocolates into a bag.]

(It's still somewhat alarming, but if she's fully over that whole mess...)

I'm glad that doesn't bother you anymore, at least. It...really got to you.

Huh I... wow, if I had done all these things, and it really got to me then... I'm okay with this. Forgetting, yes, but for a good reason.

[She held up the chocolates.] I'll go bury this under the leaf pile.

(Maybe it's for the best that she not remember that incident. She does seem a lot more chipper than she did before, so there's definitely that. And it's not like she doesn't know what happened...)

Actually, it...might be best to dispose of them properly. If your body can handle it, then...maybe you can eat them.

I could also incinerate then.

Huh... well... it is a lot of chocolate. And I'd hate for it to go to waste, considering I made two dozen...!

Want to split it? Half incineration, half down the hatch?

Right here. [And Lyra showed the small box of chocolate.] This stuff I set aside is the non-weird fruit ones.

And you're sure the helheim fruit aren't in the other ones, right?

Positive. I made certain with the wrappers.
