Oh man! That was amazing. Remind me to bring cupcakes next time. I think Calice might enjoy those. Oh yeah, those of you who're friends that don't know, may have gone and jumped into the Pale Pony. I think we're onto something with this.

[He's just going to lay there for a moment and laugh. Yeah this guy's back and he's a glow with feeling like he accomplished something. Tired, but incredibly relaxed.]

Oh right I was gone for like a...while...what'd I miss? Anything fun? Also how longs it been? I'll need to schedule some extra days for work, I think, to make up for the loss.

[She smiles and returns the nod.]

Okay...we'll be by soon.

[He gives her a smart salute.]

Roger dodger.

[He's not going to move much, and he'll be easy to find as he's a red splotch of color half lounging on the ground, staring up at what remained of the stars...something he'd admit would be beautiful right now if not for that knowledge.]

[Finding him soon enough, Choco and Sprout hop off Fluttershy's back as she lands, and the three walk over to where he's laying.]

Crmsn...?

[Choco holds up what looks like a picnic basket.]

We brought food!

[His face is kind of screwed up in slight curiosity before looking over at the three.

He makes the effort to sit up and smile at them.]

Best news I've heard all day...days...weeks? Well It's been like a day for me so...

[He chuckles and gives the grass around him a happy thump.]

C'mon over, sit a bit.

[Happy to oblige, Fluttershy and Sprout take a seat beside him as Choco places the basket in front of him.]

So, you went inside the Pale Pony, huh?

Oh yeah. Lemme tell you right off the bat, I probably wouldn't suggest it as a choice vacation spot, but I can see what all the buzz is about.

[He smiles at Sprout, though something seems to kick in and he shakes his head clear before glancing at Fluttershy.]

I...am going to be honest, some of what I saw might make you feel a bit uneasy...I know that you come from a Ponyville not too far off from this one.

M...M-Mm...

[She had a strong feeling she wouldn't like some of what she was going to hear. But she also felt she owed it to the ones who were taken by her. She felt that they deserved truth.

So she nods silently, letting him continue if he wanted.]

[He nods to her and takes a deep breath to at least calm himself down, he was still working off an adrenaline rush.]

So we dove into Calice via...some back door. What we found on the other side was...well it was Ponyville but it was...muted. Color, sound...it was like everything was being absorbed. We were told to never look at the sky so I did just that, I kept my eyes straight ahead and focused on the task at hand, Dandy had a plan and I was going to make sure to see the whole thing through.

[He shakes his head a little.]

I think the thing that hit everyone the hardest was seeing the Golden Oak burnt to the ground...actually more like eternally burning to the ground, I'm not sure that blaze was natural in any fashion.

[There was a soft intake of breath at that. While Golden Oak was gone back in her home, it was still standing here, and brought the same comfort that it used before Twilight received her castle.

So hearing that was more than a little upsetting.]

[He watches her face and goes quiet for a moment. He understands that she just heard something upsetting, but after a second he clears his throat.]

Sorry I didn't know, that must have been a very important place for you.

[He sighs through his nose.]

It was surrounded by guards, and I think it was less for the pony's living there getting hurt and more to keep them from trying to stop it.

It was around then we stopped being quiet and started being loud. We called out for her...and we did our damn best to prove that we were there for her, not to fight, but to reason and show her that she st-er...had friends there for her.

[He's not about to let the heavy ball drop just yet, he doesn't know who all knows that and...he gets the feeling if Fluttershy took news about the library burning down that hard...she wouldn't take hearing who Calice may possibly be...]

[She hesitates for a moment, glancing away.] I...I-It was...Twilight's home...the library is where Twilight lives...B-Back home, in the...Equestria I'm from...i-it was destroyed too...

[She listens, but she doesn't look up at him until he talks about the Pale Pony.]

Wh...Wh-What happened?

[Oof...yeah that'd do it. It makes him wince a little even more so.]

oof...that...makes a lot of sense...

[A lot of tragic sense...]

Well...we yelled, and screamed, and called out for her. We made the biggest loudest ruckus we could think of and then made an even louder one. We wanted her to hear us, we told her who we were, and why we were there, and just how important it was that she hear us.

Man did she scream, and yell at us. She said she didn't need friends, or us, or anything like us, she was everything and we were nothing to her.

[He pauses, finally leaning forwards and lifting the top of the basket up and peering inside.]

I think she heard us...and it rattled her that we were still able to think those things even under her gaze.

[He'd find a bunch of sandwiches and some pie in there. Choco even recommended a sandwich for him to try first.]

She must be so used to being alone...that can't be easy for anyone...

[She really did feel a little bad for the Pale Pony.]

Ooh sandwich~[He smiles a thanks to Choco, and gives the once digimon a gentle pat on the head before taking it.]

It isn't. After a while though you think it's all you're meant for...it's a really self destructive process....

[he runs at his mane a bit before taking a bite from his sandwich.]

S'why we wanted to show her she's nit alone and has friends here fo her.

[She nodded.]

How did she take that?

[Because as much as she was hoping, she imagined it couldn't have gone all that well.]

Aaaahhh....'bout as well as you'd expect....

[He sighs deeply.]

She screamed at us, called us nothing...said she was everything and then she started surrounding us with creepy black tendrils...my creepy black tendrils no less...I'm still upset about that. Oh and she changed the guards into monsters...that kinda happened too...

[Yeah now that he's thinking about it...the whole incident was kind of terrifying...]

O-Oh...goodness...How did you guys manage to get away from her?

That's....[he stops himself short and shakes his head.]...another story all together. We did though...kinda why I'm a bit drained, I had to offer up a lot of my energy to help make it happen. Let myself dedigivolve even just to make it possible, but that's nothing some rest and food can't solve.

No wonder you're so hungry.

[This is a problem that Sprout and Choco are all too familiar with.]

Yeah...back home it wouldn't be a problem usually. I'm hoping next time I'll have enough to go Ultimate, but...well you know how much trouble that can be I imagine.

[He chuckles tucking into a second...or was that his third sandwich.]

So that was my "day"....How've things been here for you guys?

Well, not really...I mean, I think we can, but Sprout and me have never had a chance to Digivolve to Ultimate.

[Fluttershy smiled a bit shyly at that, her wings tucking in just a bit tighter against her.]

It's, um...it's been pretty...busy here...There was an issue a while back with some people being switched and finding themselves in each other's bodies...th-then there was Nightmare Night, and the Giving Thanks festival...

I'm sure you'll reach there one day. Takes a lot of patience and working together.

[the shift of Fluttershy's wings catches his eyes and they flick to them briefly before he looks to Sprout and Choco with an encouraging smile then back to Fluttershy.]

Sounds like a lot has been going on, heheh. I'm sorry I missed Nightmare night, I was kind of looking forwards to it. Sounds like the festival would have been fun too. Good food, good drink, lots of friends...you been makin' friends alright hun?

[She nods.] M-Mm...it was pretty nice...a-and yes, I-I've...made a lot of friends that I care about...

It...would have been nice to have you at the festival too, though...

And at Nightmare Night! We have leftover candy if you want some, though.

[He smiles at her softly.]

That's really sweet of ya to say. Maybe we can get a barbeque sometime, Fall is always a great time for one. Everyone getting together, the smell of roasted veggies in the air...ah yeah...

[He looks to Choco and beams.]

Ooh hey, that'd be awesome, what kinda tasty treats did you guys manage?

Oh, I think that might be fun...!

We got lots of chocolate!

[Sprout can't help rolling her eyes a bit.]
