Oh man! That was amazing. Remind me to bring cupcakes next time. I think Calice might enjoy those. Oh yeah, those of you who're friends that don't know, may have gone and jumped into the Pale Pony. I think we're onto something with this.

[He's just going to lay there for a moment and laugh. Yeah this guy's back and he's a glow with feeling like he accomplished something. Tired, but incredibly relaxed.]

Oh right I was gone for like a...while...what'd I miss? Anything fun? Also how longs it been? I'll need to schedule some extra days for work, I think, to make up for the loss.

I know right? It's like I was gone or something.

[He lets out a small grunt when she buries into him, hugging her back and petting her mane.]

Hey no tears alright? Everyone's okay. We got back in one piece. All whole, no missin' memories or what not or extra hooves growing out of us. We just went in to talk. Not fight.

[He smiles at her softly, pulling one of his sleeves down to mop up her tears a bit.]

I promise I won't go doin' that again. M'sure your boyfriend would have my hide if I made you worry like that twice.

I'm pretty sure she's the one you need to worry about. I'm safe, she's the dangerous one.

[Morgan doesn't need to be up close to get a sense for Crmsn's chi, so he stops a respectful distance away to give it a once-over while Neph is busy squeezing him to death.]

E-exactly...

[Yes, your sleeves are payment for now, Crmsn. Thankfully for him, the only injury they suffer is getting wet from her wiping her eyes with them. She does stiffen at mention of losing memories, but forces herself to relax a little. Not now...she's not dealing with those feelings right now.]

E-even if ya w-were goin' to jus' talk, ya know it c-coulda gone badly. B-but Ah'm real happy it didn't...even if Ah kinda...wanna smack ya upside the head...

[Brownie points for honesty?]

[He notices the wince but he's glad she relaxes at least. He's none too worried about anything that happens to his sleeves, he'll get it washed out later.

Meanwhile, Morgan might notice from his chi, that Crmsn's fairly alright. A few aches in places along his shoulder blades, some exhaustion, and a rather unusual amount of life magic surrounding his chest, but for the most part, he's a-okay.]

Of course I knew it could have gone badly though, that's precisely why I didn't want you to know until I was already gone...I didn't want you tryin' to stop me or follow me.

[He shuffles a hoof a little.]

Can live with ya bein' mad at me...couldn't live with myself if somethin' happened to ya though, kiddo.

[Well, that's curious, but it doesn't seem like he's meaningfully harmed, so Morgan just settles back to wait for Neph to do what she wants. His role here is just to check on the man and make sure he's not telling polite lies to Neph...]

[Also curiously, if he reads her chi or things around it, there's a strong flare of long-held and latent Mind magic around her bracelet when she flinches. Agh, she's got a slight headache now...Nephenee shakes her head, both to try to help her headache, and in response to her adopted father.]

Ah have things Ah hafta do here, an' Ah promised folks Ah wouldn't run off an' do crazy stuff that might get me killed. So Ah mighta tried stoppin' ya...but Ah'm not sure Ah could follow without breakin' that promise.

[Wipe wipe, as she thinks about things.]

Ah jus'...Ah lost my Pa...Ah don't wanna...lose...my dad...[Sniff.]...Y-you're alright, though? Not hurt o-or nothin'?

[He smiles softer.]

Hey now, ya ain't gonna be losin' me that easy. No pony with a god complex is going to be takin' down your dad when his little Sentinel is waitin' at home for him.

[He helps lift her chin up and wipe the rest of the tears away and gently ruffles her hair.]

I'm fine, I promise, no scratches, no bruises...'bout as 100% as I can get sweetie. I promise that the next time I go trouncin' around ol' Pale Eyes I'll give you a proper heads up, alright?

Oh boy, I don't want to be around for that argument. [Come on, people, lighten the mood a bit.] When it happens, give me an advance warning so I can scoot over to... I don't know, is Canterlot far enough?

[..His 'little Sentinel'? Excuse her while her heart swells in the way only a daughter's can, even if she blushes lightly at the term.]

[But Morgan's timely interjection causes a quiet giggle.]

Dunno, ya might wanna get to Manehatten to avoid it. [She winks at them both, feeling a bit better.] Ah'm glad you're alright...still, ya look like ya...[Sniff.]...might tip over if Ah let go...lemme help ya up.

[Hesitantly disengaging, she stands most of the way, keeping just low enough to give him some leverage.]

Oh c'mon....at least to Griffalter to escape the fallout safely.

[He laughs and smiles at Morgan, then to Nephenee, happily accepting the help up.]

Thanks kiddo, I appreciate the assist. Guess I'm a bit out of practice. Used to be dedigivolving wouldn't take so much of me...tell you kids what though. Who's up for a feast fit for a king. Cause I am def'nitely starving.

I was rich as Croesus on Earth and I'm still not sure I would risk trying to feed both me and Neph, but hey, if you're offering...

[He flashes Neph a smile. Interested? Because he is!]

Ya ain't payin' for a thing, Dad. Ah'll take care of it...Least Ah can do. Heck, Ah'll whip us up some grub if ya want. Whatever ya'd like. Let's make sure ya can walk good first, though.

[They both know she will carry him if she has to. He's not Dante, she can handle it (and even if he were, she could).]

[Crmsn laughs a bit leaning on Neph a bit.]

Croesus didn't have to feed four Digimon either. Believe me, if anyone knows about monster appetites it's me.

[He let's out a sigh though and smiles at Neph. He'd argue the points but he's tired.]

Well if you wanna cook, I'm not gonna fight'cha. Just know that I am starvin'

We're all starving. It's a natural state of being for us. [He's speaking for him and Neph, but no evidence has ever disproved his claim.]

Don't worry. Reckon if Ah can manage to feed seven on what lil' we had growin' up, and four of us are black holes, Ah can feed three black holes on a surplus.

[She doesn't realize that sounds a bit depressing; to her, it's just stating a fact.]

He's right, though. We get hungry again pretty fast...Heh, back when Ah got stuck in the hospital, the doctor told me Ah needed to get some fat on me? Ah told him not too long ago Ah'm tryin', but Ah keep burnin' it all off!

[Hence why she tends to bruise easy.]

That's my little girl.

[He smiles softly at her before giving her mane a gentle tussle. She really did take after him in a lot of ways and it made him feel a bit proud.]

I know what'cha kids mean though...We're just one big hungry family. If we ate more you'd never notice, heheheh. Either too active, or our metabolisms are, either way, lets go raid the pantry.

I'd race you, but Neph would probably get annoyed that I made you exert yourself. [But Morgan's doing his best charger impression, pawing at the ground unconsciously in his eagerness to get moving.]

[Honestly, it's enough that you'd think they were actually related.]

We're all the same sorta shape, roughly...reckon all the lean muscle does it.

[She shoots a joking 'glare' at Morgan.]

Go on an' try, see if Ah don't hog-tie ya...no runnin', you two...Dad's done 'nuff runnin' 'round to last him a bit, Ah reckon. Ya alright to walk, Dad? [She figures Morgan would have hinted if something was off.]

[He grins a little easier before he nods, pushing forwards a bit with a minor stagger, before evening out in a steady trot.]

Of course I can, nothing I haven't walked off before kiddo. Which way's the house? I feel a bit turned around still.
