Hey! Nice to meet you all. My name's Tails, and I'm new here. [He's learned a bit about Equestria from a friend of his in the last place he found himself. He extends his wings, and then realizes he has them.] Huh. I have wings, so I guess that means I can still fly, too!

Though I do have one question... [He motions to his wrench that's lying on the ground.] How d'you hold heavier stuff with your hooves? I can't really fix or build things like this.

Not a problem. As for housing there's several options available. First there's finding a roommate somewhere in town. Several ponies have offered spare rooms after a short interview. Others have suggested the communes which require assistance in the daily chores around the area.

Also, alternatively the Ponyville Hotel is also available for rooms for long term renting, and there's a discount for newcomers who are saving up to buy their own homes.

Finally there is also camping out with camping supplies available from the stores, although winter has set in and we've been encouraging ponies indoors.

So it'll be pretty easy to find someplace to live no matter what. [Hmm, finding a roommate or living in the Hotel until he could buy his own house? Maybe he should check in with his other self.]

That's right, and if you keep your head up you can find work fairly easily in this world. There's always someone hiring. [And it would be good to be proactive at least.]

I'm always looking for something to do to help. [Mechanics things usually, but as long as it helps someone, he's willing to help with other matters.] So it's good to know there's always those looking for help.

Town hall has a listing for all open stores locally, and you can ask around. There's also hardware stores and specialty stores hiring in this time too.

Specialty, huh? [He'd ask if there was anything specializing in mechanics but that's a no-brainer - his other self was probably already on that.] So no matter what, if you keep your head on straight it's easy to get along here.
