3rd Burn [Visual] (Backdated to mid-morning)
[Somebody looks incredibly pleased with herself. ...Okay, Yang usually looks pleased with herself, but somehow she looks even more so today.]
Hey Happy New Year, everybody!!
You all know what that means, right?
[...Only 358 more shopping days left until Hearth's Warming?]
That's right! You're looking at the soon-to-be newest, full-fledged Night Market guard.
[Princess Luna did say she'd be instated as a full guard at the turn of the new year. Apparently, Yang is hoping that was meant in the most literal sense. Either that or she just really wanted to remind everybody of the fact.]
I think that calls for a little celebration, eh? Who wants to join me for dinner and a few drinks at the Decanter tonight, hmm?
[She definitely means the non-alcoholic apple cider drinks there. ...Ruby, she'll bring a juice box of milk for you or something.]
Speaking of celebrations! I'll be attending that film festival in Canterlot next week. Anybody else coming with me?
[There's an actual pause as she squints at her feed, as if looking for her friends.]
Ruby? You'll go with me, right? Blake, I know you're coming.
[That's followed with a wink.]
Oh! Jaune! How 'bout you? Wanna bring your team along? I do owe you a fun time.
[She grins cheerfully.]
Come on! Who wants to start this year off with a Yang!?
[She's been sitting on that pun since yesterday.
...Good luck trying to talk her out of any of this, guys.]

All the more reason to check it out though, don't you think?
[She gives an amused roll of her eyes.]
Oh come on, I can almost guarantee the movie'll be waaay better this time.
[She's certainly not planning on falling asleep during it, at any rate.]
no subject
True...but perhaps it would be better to have some on the inside, and some on the outside?
[Just in case things took a turn for the worse.]
Still, I'm not sure Jaune would be too open to going.
no subject
It's your call. Or Jaune's call, I guess, since he's your team leader.
[Come to think of it, if her sister had said she didn't want to go that probably would have been the only thing to make Yang reconsider her decision.]
If you don't go, Ruby and I can just keep you updated while it's going on.
[Or try to anyway. There's always the risk of low bars. ...Wait, do the scrolls even have bars?]
no subject
That would be helpful, thank you.
[Meanwhile, Pyrrha wonders if she can convince Jaune to set up a stakeout outside of the festival grounds.]
no subject
[She still kinda thinks Team J(N)PR is missing out on the "good" part, but eh, their loss.]
You guys are gonna come out for dinner and some fun tonight though, right?

That sounds like a grand idea.

[That winter wonderland on the edge of town is about to get hit. And hard.]
no subject
...Try to go easy on them.
no subject
Sorry, Pyrrha, but that's just not my style.
[A moment of silence for those poor poor snowmen. May they rest in puddles.]
no subject
It was worth a shot.
[She tried, snowmen. But unfortunately, you're all on your own.]
