1st Idea [visual]
[The screen opens up to a green pony as he's pacing; his steps are slow and deliberate, each hoof lifting a little too high as he gets used to walking. He doesn't seem to notice that his scroll has unfurled, too busy as he was trying to stay calm.]
Okay...okay, this is fine. I'm fine...there's...there's a reasonable explanation for this...
[He nearly trips but manages to catch himself, though a look at one hoof has him on the edge of panic.]
I'm dreaming. Right...that's what this is. I hit my head, and I'm in the hospital dreaming...yeah...
[He runs a hoof through his mane, but pauses to glance up at his head.]
Aww man, my hat...

[Visual]
[It was a possibility. And while he wanted to give this place a chance, it wasn't one he could completely write off either.]
So how did you all find out about being copies?
[He couldn't imagine what that was like. Finding out you were nothing more than a replica of someone else.]
[Visual]
I'd known for a while. Lot of us did, probably. There'd been so many hints of virtual reality and simulation that only an idiot wouldn't have caught it, and believe me there were still plenty of morons who didn't. Always are.
[For a lot of people, it had been devastating. It had, ironically, been the best answer Pokey could have hoped for.]
[Visual]
Has there been any similar kind of clues here?
[Visual]
Sorry mister. Information on here beyond the basics isn't great.
[Visual]
[He's picking up pieces here and there, though.]
Still, thanks for what you could give me. It's given me a lot to think about, at any rate.
[Definitely some stuff to research if he can.]
Name's Tadashi.
[Visual]
Get used to being here. Like I said, it can take a long time, if we aren't just stuck here permanently. Then again, who knows.
You might end up liking it here.
[He doesn't. He hates it here.
But the last place he was, as horrific and monstrous as it could be? It was home.]
[Visual]
[Visual]
I've got things to do and people to see back home. ...Picky probably doesn't have any idea what to do with out me. He's probably freaking out and got himself stuck in a closet or something.
[Little spaz.
He misses his little brother most of all.]
[Visual]
It's also how he's picking up on what Pokey isn't really saying.]
Sounds like you take care of him a lot, huh?
[Visual]
[He's only half-kidding on that. A lot of times, despite being the younger one, Picky could easily be the more level-headed of the two.
It didn't help that he had abandoned him once before, for stupid, selfish reasons. Reasons Pokey couldn't really look back and...well. He still understood them perfectly. But he had a harder time accepting them.
And now he was here. And his brother was still...there. In Mayfield. Possibly fading away.]
So, you know.
Kind of got to get back to him quick.
[If he only knew how.]
[Visual]
[Getting back to younger brothers was definitely something that had to be done.]
Well...we were all brought in here. So there's got to be a way out.
[Even if it's through the same way they came.]
[Visual]
[Not like it might even matter in his case. The server could already be dead, as far as he knew. Maybe he's only here because it was.]
Not so much an if as much as just a when. The weirdos here will probably find something. Bunch of scientists and junk here too, so hey. If if was a simulation again they'd probably know by now too.
[Visual]
[He needed to find some way to contribute to that.]
Would definitely be worth looking into, at least. Better than sitting around doing nothing.
[Visual]
What do you do anyway? Like, got any skills or something? Places like this don't really bring in just any normal jerks, y'know? Gotta be something special about you.
[Visual]
[Visual]
.....Cool.
What kind of robots are you gonna make?
[All things considered and all he's been through, Pokey is still a...well. A fifteen year old now, although still a relatively immature one. Though still more mature than where he'd started.
He's hoping you're going to make cool robots, and not lame ones Tadashi.]
[Visual]
[Sorry to disappoint, Pokey.]
[Visual]
[Well.
At least he isn't being outright insulting.]
[Visual]
But as it sounds, he's designed to aid with maintaining someone's health. I've programmed him with all kinds of health and medical procedures.
