Okay, lets take it from the top!

Back home we had a ritual to see who could dance off when we were bored. So I'm gathering a bunch to dance with me.

Please remember the following steps!

1. Don't hit anyone in front or behind you. Keep your arms to the side!

2. Young fillies and foals should be able to see the screen to follow along!

3. If You are sitting in the balcony of the theater, please by all means dance but remain in your seats!

There's more but we haven't watched a movie yet.

Yeah it totally is. It's not the most complex but it's very repetitive.

Be sure to stretch a little when you're cooling down, so you won't cramp up.

[And Twilight starts to do just that.] How can you keep up, though?

I have a lot of energy. [Said Yayoi, stretching out as well.]

I'm not the most athletic but I know my dances. I've been watching Tokusatsu shows since I was a little girl, and have memorized countless ending dances from various television series. And it helps that some of my supernatural stamina from my Precure form has leaked over into Civilian.

That is pretty neat. Like you're becoming one with your other self!

Yeah, I just hope I don't lose my sense of identity. Most precure don't stay active for more than a year, and when we do return to active duty, we're usually facing off against a really dangerous foe.

Woah, woah, don't think of it like that, Yayoi! I wouldn't want you to think you're always going to be a Cure! I mean, I...

...Oh, I don't know how to put this...!

[Despite her worries, she smiles at Twilight.] I know, I just get worried sometimes. Being a precure is a heady power, and a heavy responsibility. The oldest among us who even has powers is Tsubomi's grandmother, Cure Flower. And her powers have weaned to the point that she can't be an active combatant for more than a few minutes.

Having any sort of power is a heavy responsibility, no matter what it is. But, you can't let it think it can take over your life. You are you, no matter what you have or who you become.

Yeah you're right about that.

[Finishing her stretches, Yayoi stretched out her wings for a moment.] You know, I'll never get over not having any telekinetic magic while in this world. I visited an Equestria onetime with my friends and we all shifted into alicorn.

...why would you do that?

Princess Luna said something about "Fun" and "Irony" and "needs more pony". I've yet to get an answer out of her since she lost access months before I did.

But it was fun, considering we draw our powers from a horned pegasus which I think is called an alicorn.

...huh. That's pretty interesting.

So, an alicorn is your source of powers? Or perhaps something close to it?

Yeah, we manifest Princess Mode as an alicorn which was part of the Queen's power. The Queen has a daughter, Candy, who also manifests her power as a Phoenix.

So when we combine our powers, it's a Phoenix breathing an Alicorn rainbow blast.

Wow... that seems overly complicated, though!

It kinda is. In all we have four modes, two of which I shouldn't technically be able to summon without the others. Princess and Tiara Modes.

Four modes?

That's excessive! There's gotta be a way to simplify all of that, Yayoi!

I know. I think I've only got access to TWO right now though. My basic and Burst Mode.

Burst is that neat thing I do when I start glowing like an overpowered thing. Remember that during training?

That's Burst? Hmm...!

And you got four altogether...

[pikapikapikarin]

Yeah, two team ones and two solos. Normal, Tiara, Princess, Burst. Although we once combined our powers with Candy to make a one-time Princess Burst.

Do you have an idea?

[friendshipxfriendship]

Actually, I think I do. It might also help out with the problem you had with Burst Mode when we were training!

Ooooh! I'm all ears! What's your idea?

[friendshipxfriendship]

It's a long shot, but there's probably a way I could try to draw out your "Tiara" and "Princess" mode with that Burst Mode. Perhaps even make a whole new singular form!

Oooor, I could screw something up and send you home fighting evil naked.

If anypony could do it, it's probably you. And it's not really like gaining a new power, just like condensing. Right?

Exactly! Though, seeing as I'm trying to draw out two forms that require a number of persons to do so...

...almost kinda like how I gather magic for the Starlight Breaker.

But, I wouldn't want that...

[she clears her throat and grins sheepishly.] I'm sorry, Yayoi, I'm rambling...!

Mmm! Not at all, I'm okay with ramble. It makes me try to keep up after all. It's a good kind of ramble.
