[022] Written/Action (2/6 - 2/7)
I'm sorry about what happened yesterday.
While I hadn't meant to make that message, it doesn't excuse my behavior and I sincerely apologize for that and for those I had hurt. I will try my best not to run my mouth like that in the future.
[Action - TT!Shy (Backdated to morning of 2/6)]
[Tails figures he should apologize to Fluttershy first so he goes looking for her. He flies all over Ponyville. Depending on where she is, he may either be able to run into her or go to the Fluttershyes' cottage.
He just hoped he didn't run into any of her friends on the way.]
[Action - 3G!Tails (Backdated to afternoon of 2/6)]
[He hasn't seen his double since yesterday after their conversation. He knew he really screwed up with him, but at least he had a good idea where he would be.
He does spot him, but instead of just directly going up to him, instead he keeps a distance and summons his persona as quietly as he could.
Once summoned, he gives Aquila a written message saying "I'm sorry. Can we talk?" and Aquila holds the message in his mouth.
Aquila walks right up to the older Tails and makes a wimpering noise, both to get his attention and because of the sadness the younger Tails is feeling. He points to the message with a claw.]
[Action - Trixie (Forward dated to 2/7)]
[Despite his best efforts, he couldn't find her after speaking with Fluttershy and his double. He resumed his search for her.
He felt dread during all this. He and Trixie have never been on good terms and it's very likely she won't accept the apology and call him a monster again. Possibly even outright attack him.
He really hoped it didn't come to that. Especially if they are in the Night Market.]

Believe me, I empathize with the sentiments you expressed. For many years, I thought similarly---my town shunned me time and time again, and I dismissed the idea of ever solving the mysteries of friendship, let alone love. I convinced myself that solitude was better for my research---why allow myself to be distracted? Why get tangled in a flighty relationship that will never last?
Then a curious young adolescent snuck into my garage, and he shocked me to my core by admiring my crazy ideas. From then on, we were friends---and around the time we risked our very lives to save each other, I realized that that meant more than I ever could've imagined. With a friend at my side, I finally had the motivation I needed to finish my life's work.
But even with a dear friend in my life I still didn't believe that romance could find me. I scoffed at the idea of love at first sight---until I swept a wonderful woman onto my horse. When I saw her, somehow, against all rational sense, I instantaneously knew she could change my life. I soon discovered we had mutual interests I never expected to find in another person, and she embraced me for who I was, despite my eccentricities. If I were superstitious, I'd call it a miracle.
My point is---if you'd asked me if love had meaning for most of my life, I would've said it wasn't. But at 40 I made my first friend...and at 70, I met my first love. If it wasn't too late for me, it's certainly not for you. As you said, you don't need true love to achieve happiness...but you're too young to lock yourself away. Don't lose heart.

His reply is short, but really did it need to be long?]
Thank you for your kind words and advice, sir. I do appreciate it.

We might meet when you're feeling better?

I'm working towards to start up a shop myself once I have enough money saved up. It'll be a shop selling my fake horn invention (I haven't come up with a proper name yet. I'm not great at coming up with names). It uses special gems to simulate basic unicorn levitation that most unicorns here can do. Mostly it's something to help out those of us off-worlder ponies that have to deal with using hooves because we didn't end up with horns or wasn't lucky enough to end up a dragon or a griffon.
Yes we can do that certainly.
[Private Text]
And yes---that does sound like a particularly worthy invention. I was considering a mechanical approach to simulate hands, but in a magical world, replicating magic is probably the simpler option. I'd be glad to see it whenever you're ready.

Between working there, getting supplies in town for the approaching day, and getting things ready for when the hibernating animals awoke for Winter Wrap Up, Fluttershy was quite quite busy.]

Once he spotted her, he felt some relief for a second before his nervousness returned.
He walks up to her, trying to fight against his nerves.]
Um hi... I came to apologize for yesterday.
[Action]
Um...it's...okay...
[Action]
I was out of line and hurt your feelings. I'm sorry about that.
[Action]
I...I-I know you didn't mean to.

Don't make promises you aren't going to keep.
[Visual]
I can try my best to keep it and I will.
[Visual]
[She nods.]
Look, you screwed up, and that's fine. And you're going to screw up again too.
Seriously, dude, you're not perfect. Nobody is. So apologizing like you learned your lesson and will never ever ever do it again? Is probably not the best thing right now.
[Visual]
[Seriously Chie. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth.]
But you're right. I'm not perfect. True "perfection" doesn't really exist anyway. All I can do is learn from my mistakes and move on.

He simply nodded at Aquila.]
[Action]
The younger Tails then pops out of his hiding spot and walks over to his double.]
Hey.
[Action]
[A pause.]
I'm not that mad, really.
[Action]
[He picks up the fallen note and puts it away. No point in littering.]
I suppose you heard about the yandere incident?
[While he didn't see that one post from Yayoi due to it being locked from him, he had no doubt his double would have heard about it by now.]
