We Can Make this House a Home [Visual]
[There have been a lot of apologies going around since they'd managed to reforge the 'Fire of Friendship' to drive off the Windigos. Donna's been holding off, too embarrassed to join in the chorus, but there's really not a way to avoid it. At least she can limit the apology proper to the members of the commune. Everyone else? Well, there were a lot of people who could help with building.]
Hey, everybody. This is Donna Noble from the Ponyville Commune. We had some trouble recently and are looking for any help we can get to organize a building party. This isn't just for the commune, though, it's something I'd like to put together for something more regular in case any of us need the help. With everything we've faced since getting here, with as kind as the ponies in Ponyville are, I think we owe it to them to have some sort of, I dunno, on-call group. A bunch of us who'll come and fix something up if it gets knocked down in the latest invasion or whatever. If you'd like to help, please let me know. I'll be setting something up for the commune soon. I know the Agency needs some work for expansion, too, that we could see to helping with after that.
Locked to Commune Residents
[Donna takes a deep breath before addressing the scroll this time.]
Donna, here, again. I just wanted to say everybody at the Commune that I'm sorry. I'm the one who half burned down the barn. I'll see to setting it right, help or not, but... I-I need to get ahold of the powers I've suddenly got. They're dangerous. I think I should probably leave for a bit until that's sorted. Plenty of nice caves in the Everfree. [Her smile is more half-hearted than she meant it to be.] I want to make sure the repairs happen, but after that, I'll see myself off just until I can figure out a little more control. Nephenee, I'm more than happy to keep track of the commune's finances still. Just might be a little more work communicating via scroll.
Locked to Terra
[And here's the one that's hardest.]
Terra, we need to talk. I think I caught your magic. How would that happen?

Terra, we need to talk. I think I caught your magic. How would that happen?
[Visual | Commune Lock]
[Yang sounds anything but accusatory. Honestly, this time she sounds almost amused. She'd spent most of the blizzard away from the Commune after all, as had most of her friends, so no harm there.
That and she had no room to talk given she'd made an impromptu fire pit in some poor pony's floor during the storm. ...With good reason, but still.]
I wouldn't mind helping out when things need to be fixed or re-built.
[It'd be something else to do at any rate.]
[Visual | Commune Lock]
Yeah, we'll be set on charcoal for the next two years or so. Thanks, though. I don't think we've really met, yet, though. I'm Donna. I do most of the bookkeeping for the commune.
[Visual | Commune Lock]
No problem. I'm Yang. One of the Night Market guards.
[Visual | Commune Lock]
Think you could wrangle anyone else?
[Visual | Commune Lock]
[She sounds confident at least.]
I'm sure I can get my friends to join up though. They aren't Night Market guards, but we've all been living here at the Commune and we were training to help people back home.
[Granted by fighting monsters, but in lieu of those...]
[Visual | Commune Lock]
[A construction crew in the making would certainly not go amiss.]
[Visual | Commune Lock]
Not really. We were training to fight monsters but those are kind of in short supply around here.
[Which...is a good thing?]
But we have skills that could make jobs like that go faster.
[Plus it's something to do.]
[Visual | Commune Lock]
I've got to ask, though, where are you from that you've got monsters?
[Visual | Commune Lock]
That's too bad. We've got almost two complete teams of Huntsmen now. I wonder if our arrival sent all the monsters here running scared.
[Of course not, especially since Jaune was here awhile on his own and she and the rest of them kinda trickled in afterwards, but it's funny to think about.]
Our world's called Remnant. It's inhabited by creatures called Grimm.
["Overrun" with them is more like it.]
[Visual | Commune Lock]
Not that there's anything wrong with that. [Donna half-smiles.] None of us really are at the moment. I take it there aren't very many nice Grimm from the sound of it.
[Visual | Commune Lock]
[She laughs a little and then raises an eyebrow.]
Only if you like soulless, shadow beasts with an appetite for humans, then no. The words "Grimm" and "nice" don't really go together.
[Unless the word "ain't" is between them.]
[Visual | Commune Lock]
[Donna offers a grim sort of smile in response to the other mare's description of the Grimm.]
And those sound like a couple of the things I've run into with the Doctor when I was traveling around.
[Particularly the Vashta Narada, though she's fairly certain there isn't a good way to fight those.]
[Visual | Commune Lock]
[Far from sounding like she's poking fun at it, Yang seems genuinely curious. Her own world's most valued resource was called "Dust" after all.
She can't help but grin a little excitedly at that last comment though.]
So have you been to other worlds besides this one and your own?
[That would make two people now that she's met who've done that and it fascinates her to no end.]
[Visual | Commune Lock]
I've been to loads of other worlds. I guess I never really thought about how silly Earth's name is... makes sense, though. It's what we live on! [She laughs lightly before going on.] The Doctor's got this ship called the TARDIS - Time and Relative Dimension in Space. He can go wherever and whenever he wants... thought we always seem to end up going somewhere with trouble.
[Her smile widens to an outright grin.]
Never was a dull moment, at least.
[Visual | Commune Lock]
Sure sounds like it!
It must be exciting getting to go on adventures like that though. Seeing completely new worlds and people.
[That is the life.]
[Visual | Commune Lock]
I guess you and your friends are helping people, too, or preparing to. What made you want to go into the monster-fighting business?
[Visual | Commune Lock]
Aww, wow, they sound really nice. Kinda wish my world had ships that could take you to places like that.
[Although if Remnant had ships that could take you to other worlds, there's that off-chance that very few people would actually want to stay on Remnant anymore.
That question makes her blink though, a momentary shift in her expression as if it's brought up some memory before she gives a small shrug and a grin.]
Honestly? I'm a thrill-seeker. Fighting monsters and getting to see the rest of the world? It's exciting! And I'll be helping people too, so that's always a plus.
[Visual | Commune Lock]
[You know? The normal way friends meet.]
You'd certainly get a thrill with the Doctor, though. If we can swing it, I'd love to take you and your friends along once we've got the TARDIS back. It's bigger on the inside than it looks, and there're plenty of spare rooms.
[Visual | Commune Lock]
It sure sounds exciting! Hey, if anything, I'd totally be down for a ride in that thing by myself.
[There's the briefest hesitation.]
I mean, just so long as I won't be gone too long, right? I've got my training to finish and stuff.
[And it's just not...sitting right with her to pick up and leave her team behind for an extended amount of time. ...Never mind leaving her sister.]
[Visual | Commune Lock]
[Visual | Commune Lock]
[Just being able to travel to other worlds was cool enough, but being able to do it and have no time lost back home? Now that was awesome.
She grins widely.]
Well, I'm sold.
Bet that'd convince a few of my friends to come along too.
[Visual | Commune Lock]
I will warn you, there's a lot of running involved with the Doctor, though. Best keep a spare set of shoes handy for when you start wearing holes into the first set.
I'm sure he'd be open to your friends, too. [She'd make him be open to it.] Bunch of monster fighters? So long as none of you use guns, he'll be fine.
[Visual | Commune Lock] 1/2
Don't worry, my clothing's almost as durable as I am.
[Her boots were made for walking...over the bodies of her fallen enemies.]
That's great though! I'll have to tell them all about-
[Visual | Commune Lock] 2/2
Wait, what's wrong with guns?
[Visual | Commune Lock]
The Doctor doesn't like them very much. [Donna's gaze drops.] His daughter was killed by one... and I think other people he knew before I knew him, too.
