I hope no one will judge me too harshly for asking this, but has anyone found a passable substitute for horseflesh?

This past week has been...trying, in all the worst ways, and I thought I'd cook something from home. Easier said than done when everything talks at you.

The closest thing I've tasted to horse is cow, but I'm pretty sure those talk around here, too...

I have tried horse meat in my original homeworld but I've still yet to master something that would replicate the taste. And honestly given my current state, there's no way I could taste test it without my stomach turning.
