5th Burn [Audio] (Fail-Anon and Fail-Locked from her fellow Remnants)

[Apparently somebody was too distracted or infuriated to correctly make this transmission anonymous, but the voice that sounds over the scroll is so low and choked with barely restrained anger that it's almost too hard to tell who might be speaking anyway.]

I want to know who was responsible for poisoning the water supply last week and where they are now.

[Somebody is not happy. Not happy at all.]

"No. It's not over."

She sounds deadly serious.

"Not everybody who was trapped in the Dreamscape has returned."

At this, the pony bolts upward in horrified shock and runs away from the scroll.

There's an indistinct conversation - the sound muffled by sheer distance - before the pony returns, looking very intent.

"Sorry, I had to check on someone. Who's missing?"

[Audio]

If there's any reaction from her, it doesn't carry over through the scroll and she answers as if the pause in the conversation was of little concern to her.

"My sister, Ruby Rose. She works at Bon Bon's shop. We were both trapped in the Dreamscape along with a mutual friend, but she hasn't returned."

So she can only assume Ruby's still trapped there because the next most likely scenario is going to make her livid. More so than she is now.

[etranger]

Okay. Work past the frisson of terror, keep your breathing steady and even, and think.

"I can help you find her."

[Audio]

[nailed_it]

"How?"

Consider her interest piqued.

[etranger]

"I have a giant telepathic bird that can act as a bridge between sleeping minds and extensive training in lucid dreaming. It's not as complete as a dreamwalking spell, but it has the benefit of an outside observer."

[Audio]

[nailed_it]

There's a small moment of silence on her end while she considers that, but it's only the briefest of pauses.

"Alright."

She's more than willing to try anything to get her sister back.

"Would you need anything for this to work?"

Like how dogs usually need a scent to track something. Honestly, Yang's not at all sure how you find somebody that doesn't seem to exist on the physical plane anymore.

[etranger]

"You. I don't know your sister, so you'd have to be the guide in the Dreamworld."

[Audio]

[nailed_it]

"That's fine. How soon can we do this?"

Right now would certainly be preferable.

[etranger]

"We can start as soon as you get here - I live on the commune, look for the cottage with the large bird on top."

[Audio/Action]

[nailed_it]

"Then I'll be there shortly."

And with that, Yang closed her scroll and headed out. Being a resident of the commune herself, it took her no time at all to find the right cottage, particularly with a feature as unusual as the large bird atop it.

Giving it the briefest of wary glances, she rapped at the door.
