[Applejack appears, but she's not really looking at the camera. She's holding her hat in her hoof, and her mane hangs over her eye. It's safer that way, because she's really about to lose control here.]

I know some of y'all are waiting to hear how it went, meeting her. Calice.

Well, we know a few things more about her, and we'll tell you what you want to know, but more important than that right now is...I failed a friend of mine. Two friends, counting Calice. Our words couldn't reach her, and she's more determined to fight us than ever.

Worse, Fluttershy---the one with the little digi-critters---she saved our hides, but Calice snagged her. She's trapped, and knowing what I know now....

I'm sorry. I'm so, so sorry.

[Unable to say another word for now, she closes the scroll, about ready to cry.]

And you think that's what Fluttershy can do?

...Hardship can feel like a horrible thing sometimes. But it allows us to grow. We know it can be easier with friends by someone's side, but... she's all alone. We felt many other peoples' pains before, and what she's feeling right now...

...She just has to power through it.

[There's a little bit of determination in her voice. A far cry from the shy, meek pegasus, isn't it?]

If any of us can, it's her. All of you.

[She bows her head.]

But I've still gotta find a way back to her. Somehow, some way.

[When Fluttershy speaks next, her voice will be motherly.]

We will. We'll find a way to go back and get her, and everything will be okay.

...But we'd have to let things cool down a little. Calice might be too agitated if we come back too soon...

Right. And we need a new plan too.

[She sighs. It's strange, talking to somepony who looks just like the friend she's worried sick about...but though they have the same heart, they're their own ponies. And Equestria needs them all.

She finally smiles a little.]

But I hope you're right.

[Fluttershy smiles, too.]

...yeah, I think I will. Do you...look, think you can come by the farm?

[She can't bear going near the cottage right now.]

[Fluttershy smiles pleasantly.]

We'll be over there as soon as we can.

[With that, The Flutters roll up the scroll and start heading to the farm.]

[When they arrive, Applejack has a little setup on the porch. Tables, chairs, and her favorite spice teas in any flavor. She gives her friend a tired wave and pulls out her chair.]

I really appreciate you coming. Don't know how much longer I could stand the quiet 'round here.

Thank you. It's no trouble at all. It's what friends do to help each other out.

['Shy gives a small hug to Applejack before sitting down and beginning to prepare the tea for the three of them.]

[Applejack clings just a little more than usual for her. Sorry if you get a little wet, ladies. But she soon pulls back and sets out the muffins.]

Y'know...just looking at you...well, I know I haven't been doing what I can to be a good friend lately.

I really should've been spending more time with you. All of you. And it's a sad thing that this is what's making me finally do it. So I'm sorry for that too.

It's okay to make mistakes sometimes. We were more distant when Kreutzer was here, hanging out with her more than you girls. But as long as we all hang out occasionally, everything will be alright, right?

[Fluttershy continues preparing the tea. Once it's ready, she pours a cup for them each, totaling two.]

...if---when---we get everypony out so we can be together again.

[She sighs and takes a sip.]

But there's no peace--no such thing. Not for a while.

[Fluttershy also takes a small sip.]

Then we make as much peace until we can get her back.

[She's acting very motherly, isn't she?]

Yeah. We stay together and help each other. I know it's easy to pass blame around, but...

[She sighs.}

What matters is we pick ourselves up and start a new plan, right?
