2nd Idea [Accidental Visual]

[With everything settling back down again, it should be the best time to relax. But it apparently was the opposite for Tadashi, who could be seen pacing around his room at the commune. His tail flicked with every turn, and the expression on his face was more agitated and troubled than normal for those who had seen him before.

Another passing turn had him pausing, finally noticing the scroll was open. And for a moment he almost seemed to glare at it, his hardened expression persisting as he debated whether to simply roll it up.

But it only lasted a moment before his expression softened, and he managed a small, if somewhat weary smile.]

Anyone feel like grabbing a drink?

...Or taking a walk. Or...something.

[It just seemed like he could use the company.]

I hadn't... ever thought about whether it had a name or not. Or that other people might have the same sort of experiences.

I've been so focused on what I need to do that it was just kind of... a thing to be endured, okay there was another nightmare, let's keep moving.

You've...never talked to anyone about it before?

[scattered_rose]

[He made a gesture with his head that was half shake, half shrug, and glanced up at him.]

Never around anyone to talk to about it.

[Or anything, really.]

[Tadashi frowns a bit, the gears in his head starting to rapidly turn.] Well...you're around others now.

[scattered_rose]

[He nodded vaguely.] I guess so, yeah.

[Crmsn seemed to know what was up. There's always him, and uh...]

I'm sure we can find some people around here that can help you out... [There's bound to be some people.]

[scattered_rose]

[He blinked, looking up.]

"We"? Tadashi, I-

[notgivinguponyou]

Have been doing this on your own for long enough. [Tadashi gave him a small smile.] It'll be easier with a bit of help.

[scattered_rose]

[He stared at him for a long, long moment, processing through what he'd said, what he'd learned, and what was said just now.

Then he shut his eyes tight as his mouth screwed up some, and he pulled his head away and down in the same motion one hoof went back, hooking his cloak's hood and pulling it as far over his face as he could manage.]

[Tadashi had a suspicion of what Daniel was doing, but didn't say anything about it. Silently he moved to stand right next to him, giving him just the lightest nudge. Just to let him know he was here.]

[There wasn't much sound coming from underneath the hood, which he was determinedly holding down with his hoof, but his body did tremble every now and then.

When he felt Tadashi's nudge his covered head turned, and then lowered some. Right before he returned the small gesture.]

[That got a faint smile from him, and taking a chance he draped a foreleg lightly over Daniel's hunch shoulders in a loose side hug, leaving enough space for him to either return or pull away. Whatever he needed.]

[Turns out returning it is what he decided he needed, putting both front hooves down and shifting into it, leaning against Tadashi.

Then he muttered something in a cracked voice that might've been hard to hear, but it certainly sounded grateful.]

[Tadashi didn't reply, but his smile grew just a bit wider as he returned the hug proper.]

[He stayed there for several long moments, and then abruptly pushed himself out of it, turning away from Tadashi and sitting down, letting him use both front hooves to scrub at his face with the inside of his hood.]

[Tadashi didn't move much, even as Daniel moved away. He let him take a moment to settle a bit before finally speaking.] You gonna be okay?

[scattered_rose]

Yeah. [He cleared his throat, pulling himself up some as he took in a deep, steadying breath.] I'll be fine.

Just... a whole bunch to take in.

[notgivinguponyou]

[He nodded.] Yeah...I bet.

[scattered_rose]

[A few more moments to pull himself together and then he pushed up onto his feet, moving his hood back enough that he could at least see, though he didn't slide it back entirely.]

So, ehh... back to the walk?

[notgivinguponyou]

[Tadashi shrugged.] If you want to. [At this point, he didn't mind either way.]

[scattered_rose]

[That gets an amused half-smirk.]

Hey, it was your idea, I was just asking.

[notgivinguponyou]

Yeah, but I'm good with anything right now.

[scattered_rose]

[Regardless, he started off again anyway.]

There's a whole lot of 'anything' around.

Yeah, that's true... [As they walked, Tadashi recognized the path they were taking, and soon took the lead. After a while, they would find themselves at a familiar looking burger place.]

[He noticed the burger place ahead of him, then stopped to look around at Tadashi.

Sure, guess that counts as 'anything' as much as the next thing.]
