Pass the hot cocoa? I think I'm going to need to dilute this premium whipped cream.

[At least she wasn't drinking per say, but Pinkie let out a sad sigh, something rarely heard from her.]

[The hot cocoa doesn't seem to be very hot, so Fluttershy goes to warm it up for her.]

I...I-I know it's going to be hard, Pinkie...but you know...if you ever want to talk about it...I'm here to listen...

Well... you know how I don't let things bother me? Lately it's been piling up.

[Dipping her hoof into the cream, she licked it off.] First it was Lucia and we had something together, even if it was just y'know, casual.

But then more of my friends from my world started showing up, but then started dropping one by one. Principal Celestia didn't stay long, Flash practically vanished into the ether, Rainbow Dash, and now Sunset.

I dunno, the house feels empty because everypony I knew from my home was living here, cept Flash and the Principal of course but... it feels like I need to find more friends. Go on a trip or something. Find something new, which is why I built the D Wheel to begin with so I can travel.

[Pinkie held up her pet rock.] I just don't know, Rocky's the only one left recently, even with Hayate in the house and it's been so quiet.

[She nodded a bit.] Mm...I know...i-it seems a lot of people have been disappearing lately.

It's okay to...be a little bothered by these things. It can be pretty tough to deal with, especially on your own. But I think maybe finding something new might be a good idea...

[When the cocoa was heated up, Fluttershy brings it back to Pinkie, placing it in front of her and giving her a hug.]

I'm sorry that you've been feeling so lonely...

[Hugging her back, Pinkie nodded.] It's not that no one is receptive or anything, far from it. I just feel like I'm suffering from empty nest syndrome or something. Everyone's left, and I need to fill the house again.

I moved out of the Cakes because I wanted to live with my friends. Maybe I should put up a room available sign next week.

[She nodded.] Mm...that might be a good idea. It'd be a good chance to maybe meet someone new...

Yeah, though anypony I bring in I'm going to have to know. This house is pretty big too, and there's 4 other rooms as well.

[She nods.] Of course...it'd be strange to live with them if you don't really know them...

Goodness, I didn't realize you had so much room here...

True. And yeah, it was made for a lot of ponies, but more importantly a lot of space to host parties. Though I haven't had a party in ages. Maybe that's the problem.

It does feel like it's been a while since there's been a Pinkie party in town...

Hmm...

[Taking the whipped cream, she filled her cup and slugged it down in a single gulp. Now with a foamy mustache, Pinkie nodded, slamming down the mug.]

I think you're onto something! It's about time we had a Pinkie Party, and it's a crying shame we haven't! I'll do it!

[She jumps slightly in surprise when the mug hits the counter, but she manages a smile.]

Oh, I think that would be a lot of fun...! It certainly might help cheer up some of the people around here...

As long as you...don't feel like you have to, though...

[While she knew Pinkie liked throwing parties, she didn't want her to feel like she was being forced to throw a party.]

Well to be honest? I think some ponies are onto something. I noticed an upswing in hobbies and little tidbits lately going out in town that are more everyday stuff.

And I like that. It means we're finally beginning to pull ourselves together again.

[Fluttershy nodded.] Yes, I know what you mean...we're all trying to do things to brighten things up a little...

Yeah! And honestly, I got one hay of a doozy a while ago. I think something big happened!

Oh really...? A good something?

[It had been a while since she'd heard anything about Pinkie's Pinkie Sense.]

Hmm, I'm not sure but I know it's quite the doozy! I had a combo that I never had before!

Oh...? What was the combination...?

Tail spin, leg over my head, flipflip ears, twitchy nose, exploding twist and a rebound across the entire kitchen!

Oh wow...! That's a lot of them...

Yeah. It's a combo I never got previously, so I'm really interested to know what happened!

[She nods.] Mm...I wonder what it could be to cause such a big reaction like that...

Who knows? But it's gotta be huge.

Right...I suppose we'll just have to wait and see...

Yep! In the meantime, I think this is my last hot cocoa. Somehow I get the feeling that the doozy is good, so that means no more drowning in chocolate for me!
