[Finally. It was over.
It was all over...
In an attempt to open the door leading out of the high school, Nephenee pushed against it with her shoulder. Annoyingly, she couldn't, and it wasn't until a few more attempts that she looked up to see that it was out of order. Oh...and here she thought she was just too tired to open it! Stifling a yawn, the mare bumped open the working one, and was immediately greeted with a small throng of students near a board by the wall, nearly climbing on top of each other to find out their scores.
Wow...that was fast. Rather than join them on the ground, however, the pegasus flew up a few feet, the better to try to see the results. With other flyers there, it took some doing, and she did find herself wishing there weren't so many in one space. Not because of the difficulty of seeing the board, but more for the whole 'a lot of folks in one place' problem...breathe, focus...
Nephenee was a bit frazzled and nervous by the time she had managed to get close enough to spot anything, and shutting out the others the best she could, her eyes darted around the board. Town name...town name...there, Ponyville! Alright....N...N N N...Na...Ne...seriously, she'd never seen this many N names before now! Neeee-there!
Nephenee. ""Scuse me, please!" A few sidesteps and dodges later, she'd gotten next to the board...only to find her envelope wasn't there.
...What.
In her somewhat scattered mindset, the mare's thoughts immediately went a bit haywire, as her eyes darted around the board. No, no...darn it, it wan't in the wrong spot! Horsefeathers, where was it??
A few ponies yelped in surprise as she shot up to get out of the crowd, but as much as she'd normally feel bad about that, she was a bit frantic; had someone accidentally taken it? Or..worse, took it on purpose? She was one of the few off-worlders that came here, and getting married had made her name more known before...crud. Crud crud crud...
"Neeeeephie!" The bleat alerting her, Neph looked towards where it came from, and felt her heart fall back into its proper place when she saw a bright yellow sheep with an envelope in its mouth. The Ampharos looked so proud of herself for helping her trainer out, Nephenee saw as she landed beside Chrysanthemum, and she found she really couldn't get onto her overmuch.
"Oh, so that's where that was!" She sighed in relief, "Thanks...thought somepony else got it."
"Oops, sorry!"
"Naw, thank ya..."
She carefully rubbed her hoof against Chrys' wool as she took the envelope, being careful to not shock herself, and for a moment, she could only stare at it tenuously...but only a moment. A flash of silver later, her dagger had popped the seal, and sitting, she read over the results...and joy overwhelmed her as she did.

The bouncy, giddy pony didn't realize she had started squeaking that out loud, but she wouldn't really have cared - she'd passed with...well, mostly flying colors - Grammar was more 'gliding' colors, but it was better than she'd hoped! She tore out of the schoolyard at that, Chrys bleating in protest after her, eager to make it back to town to show everypony the scores. In fact, the entire train ride over, she was turning circles in her cabin!
Unfortunately for Nephenee...well, her giddiness clouded her judging how hot it actually was out. Between that and little rest lately and missing breakfast...she might have fallen over at some point on the way from the train station in Ponyville, exhausted and overheated.

[Somewhere around Star Bucks, there's a bright yellow electric sheep running by, looking every which-a-way for someone she recognizes. There has to be somebo-! And even as she thinks that, there's a somewhat familiar blue pony with a chilly aura around her that Chrys can sense up ahead. So Yuko might be slightly surprised to hear her name being bleated.]

[It's been a bit since Neph addressed the network at large, but some might have heard about her tipping over like a blue fainting goat. News travels fast here, after all. Here she is, though, up and at 'em. And tired looking, but hey, you can't win them all; it's lessened by her smile, at least.]
Hey, everypony! [Yaaaaawn...] S-sorry, reckon Ah'm still a lil' tired. Sorry Ah ain't been on much lately, we jus' got done with finals at the high school, so Ah was studyin' for them hard as Ah could, so Ah can get done with a few summer courses. Ah jus' got done today an' already got the results back. An' guess what?
[And that tired smile turns into a bright grin as she holds up her paper, large numbers on the side.]
Ah passed real good! Even on grammar, an' it's my hardest subject! [No one can tell that at all...] So after summer school, long as Ah do good, Ah can graduate an' look into goin' to Pranceton in the spring.
But...for now, Ah can relax a lil' an' get back into stuff. Ah wanna try learnin' other stuff in the meantime, like how to handle hot foods an' stuff, an' help others learn, too. Wanna catch up with folks, too. Anypony wanna do that?

[Nephenee's been resting most of the day after falling over earlier...but being Nephenee, she's wanting to get up and do something, even if she can't do heavy labor just yet. Still, they need to have dinner...and guess who's the main cook? This blue pegasus! So what can they eat that isn't too difficult...welp, time to consult the family!]
[Walking to the living room, she spots that the fairy and Mage are both there, and sticks her head on top of Cirno's from behind. Sup chiily?]

Learnin' more can make your job easier, though, like Ah said. You're havin' to learn Equestrian plans an' stuff, an' there's stuff in the Everfree ya really don't wanna learn from experience...like nasty plants that look fine.

Are ya kiddin'? Got that all the time back in Tellius. Ah mean, Ah grew up in Ohma, an' spent most o'my time on the farm 'til Ah got captured in the militia. When Ah moved to the capital, felt all sorts o'folks lookin' down on me.
