Visual - Full Moon

Hello everypony, I have just enough time in my schedule to announce that the summer Full Moon is upon us. A blue moon is scheduled for the 31st of this month, and if you wish to share your moon cakes with one another then now is the time.

The moon cake festival was an old tradition back in my own Equestria, as a marker for the mid-summer to leap into fall. Thus being said, I will be raising a Blue Moon that night in honor of that tradition.

Moon cake recipes for those who are not aware, will be listed under the following locations with fliers handed out. And I hope you will all take time to make some for your friends and loved ones.

[Rarity wasted no time in greeting Luna as she trotted up.]

It really has. Thankfully we can remedy that now, so please lead the way darling. You have no idea how much I'm looking forward to this.

Of course, right this way.

[The inside is pleasantly warm as usual, as Luna threw the doors open to the hot springs. A warm delicious aroma wafted from it as Luna gestured towards the water.]

I scented the hot springs today, and it smells divine, doesn't it? Just the smell of delicious caramel.

[She followed after her host and smiled at the warm inviting scent. She definitely detected caramel and was a bit amused that Luna would choose such warm smell.]

Absolutely and so inviting.. I may not wish to leave.

Well far be it from me to try and not attempt at keeping you here~! [Laughing, Luna floated over a bottle.] I also warmed some moonwine as well, some of my own creation no less.

[To say she was amused may be an understatement as she walked in with Luna. As for the bottle, she was looking at it curiously. For her this may be quite the treat indeed.

Rarity usually avoided alcohol of any type but... well. She figured just this once with Luna wouldn't cause any harm.]

Then I look forward to tasting it Darling. I'm sure it will be simply divine if you made it.

I hope so, it has been quite a long time since I have been able to make it. The moonlight is a little different in this world than it is in mine, and I used to be able to make it on a more consistent basis.

[Producing two glasses, Luna removed her robe and gestured to the water.] When you are ready I will serve. All right?

[She nodded slightly as she set down her saddle bags and tossed her mane for a moment.]

Well, then I shall not keep you waiting if this is such a rare treat. Lets both settle in the water and then have a toast to good friends and a relaxing night.

Of course!

[Stepping into the water, she held out a hoof for Rarity to help her in, before settling into the water herself up to her shoulders. Using her magic, Luna floated the bottle over and uncorked it and poured two glasses.

The liquid smoked just a little, but it was a delicate mist like the morning dew as she poured it. Offering one to Rarity, she nodded.]

To good friends and a relaxing night!

[Rarity smiled slightly as she took Luna's offered hoof and elegantly lowered herself into the water until it was at her shoulders.

The overworked mare sighed softly as she closed her eyes for a brief moment, just letting the warmth and wonderful scents wash over her before slowly opening her eyes again as she heard the bottle being uncorked.

The delicate smoke didn't escape her, nor that delightful scent. Rarity took the offered glass gently in her magic and smiled as she raised it for a toast.]

To good friends and a relaxing night! One I've needed for a very, very long time.

[Rarity took a small sip, letting the rare taste roll over her tongue.]

[Luna took a sip as well, letting the taste fill her senses.] Mmm it's perfect. Pulled moonlight is really the best isn't it?

[Luna sighed as she took a moment to dunk her head and came up with a wet mane. Undoing her hair tie, she let the damp locks cascade down her shoulders.] This, is the life.

[Rarity let the taste sink in before swallowing. This was definitely the most exquisite thing she's ever tasted!]

I think I have to agree.

[She smiled as Luna dunked under and soon followed suit, letting her usual curls fall out as the water straightened her well taken care of mane for a few moments before expertly braiding it with her magic and then coiling it up just to keep her long mane out of the way as she soaked and let the tension flow out of her.]

Oh yes, I definitely agree. I could get used to doing this at least once a week at the very least.

It's a shame you live out of town right now. But I really hope you're enjoying yourself.

And of course you are always welcome to just drop on in on the hot springs when you wish.

[Luna had long since laid her worries to rest. It seemed like her boyfriend had taken good care of her since she had moved in.]

How are things so far? Good?

I am. Things aren't as worrying as one might think.

[She smiled faintly and let the delicious drink roll on her tongue once more.]

When I moved it, I was given my own set of rooms, private bath.. and even rooms for my work. It's rather overwhelming at first to have so much space when I was used to the Boutique.

But.. I'm rather happy with Zetta. Besides, he's harmless and let me redecorate parts of the castle. You would not believe the attrocious colors he had clashing in some of those rooms!

I'd like to think I've made it more open and friendly. A mare's touch was in desperate before I moved in.

Good. I'm happy to hear this. A mare should be happy with what she has, and what she is blessed to receive.

[With a smile, Luna took a sip of her drink before adding,] And between you and I, he has mellowed quite a bit. I would visit, although I am certain I am still non grata for the stunt I pulled with the speaker set.

[She smiles faintly, completely agreeing with Luna as she takes another sip of her drink.]

Hm... I still think you should visit, if he throws a fuss, simply tell him I invited you and he can take it up with me.

Oh ho? Quite a mischievous thought. Perhaps I should, just to see his reaction. I will bet he turns purple in the face.

[Giggling, Luna sipped her drink again.]
