[There's the usual rainbow explosion that heralds an arrival in Ponyville, a sight that's become a lot more common as of late perhaps. However, out of the color and smoke of this particular explosion strides, no, saunters a young mare as confidently as if she'd caused it herself. She's got a wide grin on her face, flicking her long, blonde mane back into place as she pulls out her scroll...]

[Yang's got an extremely wide and winning smile on her face. ...It's actually kinda frightening.]

'Bout time I got to punch some Grimm around. Man, what a rush.

[She missed punching things. Really missed punching things.]

[She pauses to smile again.]

Well, a whole lot of people came back en masse recently. And then there's a new princess, Nephenee. And it seems like the newcomers have been told that the final push will begin soon.

Hey Yayoi!! Oh yeah, I remember Nephenee got a promotion before I went home for a few hours.

[Her sense of time is all screwed up given she's actually been missing from Equestria for 3 days but really only spent 1 at the most in her own homeworld.]

The "final push", huh? Looks like I came back just in time!

Yeah, I'm not too sure when it's going to start, but I know being genre savvy and all, we're in for the final few "episodes" as it were. Like episodes 35 to 50 for a Toei show.

Riiight...You mean like the last few chapters in a book. When the plot really picks up?

[She has no idea what any of what Yayoi said actually was, but at least she got the jist of it.

Her grin intensifies.]

[She's been wanting to punch Calice in the face for nearly a year now, payback is finally at hand.]

Yeah, that's exactly it. [Like a storybook that you just can't put down after all.]

Yep! So we should prepare, but we shouldn't try to ignore training and stuff.

No worries there. I'm all over training and preparation.

Yeah I need to start training too. I've ignored my power set, and Twi made me this cool new wand for me to wear into battle. [She held up a headband with a horn on the end of it.]

Well, hey, if you ever want to shoot some targets or spar a round, I'm usually up at the training grounds just outside the Everfree Forest after I finish my Night Market rounds.

That sounds like fun. And hey, I don't think we ever got around to going shopping. I know a great place for all the coolest outfits.

That's perfect! If we're gearing up for some final all-out battle, I could use a new outfit to look awesome in while I punch some lights out.

[She smirks at the thought for a moment before her expression settles back into its previous grin.]

How about this weekend then?

This weekend sounds great! Pack a bit of a day bag too, we're going to Seaddle by train.

Seaddle, huh? Cool! I've been meaning to check out some of the other cities around here.

[Canterlot kinda reminds her vaguely of Vale so she's definitely curious to see what the other towns are like.]

Yeah, it's super trendy. And I love it there! There's so much stuff there from all sorts of markets.

I'm sure we can find some awesome outfits there.

Can't wait! Oh! Any idea what time trains for Seaddle leave?

[Considering she had to run to catch the last train she was on...]

I think the last time we caught one, it was at 9:45 in the morning. And it runs regularly between the towns.

Aside from everyone coming back? Not too much. We kept the commune, a lot of our friends are popping back up, I think I saw Jaune around here not too long ago...

We're gearing up for the final confrontation, so no surprise there.

[She smiles brightly.]

That's great! I'm sure Pyrrha gave him a warm welcome back.

Hey, you wouldn't happen to have seen a white pony with a black mane and a bow, would you?

[She can't remember if Crmsn ever met Blake but if he's been seeing ponies around...]

White pony, black mane....

[He rubbed at his chin thoughtfully, before shaking his head.]

Sorry, I don't think I've seen any meeting that description. Friend from your world? Or here?

My world. She's my partner back at Beacon Academy.

[She shrugs unconcerned, still smiling warmly.]

That's okay. She'll probably show up later.

[Crmsn smiled back and nodded.]

I'm sure she will. I'll keep my eye peeled...you seem pretty happy to be back. Guessing you had fun?

[Well, let's not go so far as "happy".

A cocky grin spreads across her features at the question all the same.]

Just got back from helping my teammates take out a huge hoard of Grimm, bring down a criminal organization that's been terrorizing the city and save the Kingdom of Vale.

[So yeah, FUN.]

Sounds like a pleasant Saturday night, wish I could say things were as exciting here, but honestly it's the same old story.

[He laughs and shrugs a bit.]

Will you be returning to your shifts once you're re-settled?

[But for them, it was a Tuesday.

...Actually, no really, it was probably a Tuesday, the dance was on Sunday and then they spent a day in Mountain Glenn-, well anyway.]

You bet!

[One side of her mouth quirks up.]

(Cue ~~baby~~ little sister galloping at top speed to glomp you pretty tight! Zwei's not too far behind but his barks are somewhat audible.)

I knew you'd come back...!

(She only sniffled the first couple of nights.)

[Oh she knows that call. And she's glad to hear it.]

Ruby!!!

[There's a bright smile on her face as she sweeps Ruby up with that glomp. Some teeny tiny part of her was worried she might come back here and find Ruby gone, but that was cast aside the moment she saw her sister. And Zwei too; always happy to see Zwei.

She hugs her in tight.]

Of course I would.

[She'd never just leave her sister trapped somewhere.]

(Ruby's not gonna let go. She's missed her sister too much to even think about pulling back.)

I've missed you so much, Yang...! You'll never guess what happened, who else came back while you were back home!

(She was barely restraining herself from going on, but her wide smile was currently all for Yang. She really did miss having her sister around.)

[That's alright. Yang's not exactly looking to let go any time soon either. Ruby's capture by the White Fang was only a few hours ago for her and while that turned out fine, it's still fresh in her mind, alongside the concern for how long her sister was still stuck here in Equestria without her.]

I'm not gonna go anywhere again, I promise.

[Next time she returns to Remnant, they're leaving together along with their friends.

Her brows raise curiously, one ear flicking back in curiosity at Ruby's statement.]

Who?

That's good...'cause wherever you go, I wanna go with you!

(Time for more sister hijinks? Most definitely! Her ears flick back and forth a few times before she answers.)

Jaune! A ton of other people who are ponies again came back a few days ago outta nowhere, saying we need to prepare for the last confrontation. Jaune was one of them!

[Yang gives an extra little squeeze in answer to that first part and then pulls her head back just a little so the delight can be seen on her face.]

That's great! I bet the others'll show up real soon then!

[She grins excitedly.]

There's no way they'd wanna miss this!

[Everybody hit Calice with things that are also guns.]

So I've been hearing a bunch of people came back. Figures as soon as I step out for a moment the party'd get going here.

Well, you really didn't miss much. They were probably just setting everything up for when you got back.

[Tadashi, she hasn't actually slept in at least 24 hours and is kinda nursing a bruised ego among other also bruised things and you are making her genuinely giggle.]

Don' know we got much Grimm round here though. Wha'ever tha' is.

Grimm are monsters from my world. If there are any here, then I haven't seen them.

And that's a good thing.

[Because as much as she enjoys a good tussle with the creatures of Grimm she does not wish them on any world.]

Oh... yeah, I mean, sometimes there's monsters, but I dunno if they're from yer world or not.

We thought there was a monster from our world here but she turned out ta be a friend.

Grimm are kinda particular. No souls, glowing red eyes, bony plating on their skulls and usually protruding from their backs and limbs.

Oh, and a love for killing humans.

[Come to think of it, this place might not actually be able to sustain a population of Grimm even if there were any here.

Sounds like maybe your friend wasn't much of a monster in the first place?

[She doesn't have any idea of the context here but she does know a thing or two about real monsters.]

Haven' seen one'a those. But I'll keep a look out.
