Oh, walking on two legs is easy! It probably helps that our legs are pretty long so we don't fall over easily. If I tried here, I'd just tip over after a few minutes!

How do you not fall
When you stand tall?
Regardless of leg length
Ponies haven't the strength.

Because our legs are about half the length of our entire body, from head to foot! That way, our center of gravity is different!

We can go on all fours, too, but it looks silly!

Would that not shift the weight much higher
Making your muscles quicker to tire?

I guess that's true! We don't stand as much as ponies do! Although we still walk and run a lot!

And are two or four better for speed?
Can you lower your head to run faster in need?

Well, if I had to choose, I'd say four legs is faster!

I've never tried to run faster by lowering my head, but I bet it would! You'd be closer to the ground!

A proper human body

I could draw one for you! Although just a plain body is kind of boring... it would need some robotics! Or a tail!

Spike is not quite the same
As other dragons: no wings to claim.
Smaller and with dexterous paws
Useful like 'hands' if he has cause.

While an adult dragon is indeed that size
A baby dragon has somewhat lower highs.
