First Attempt: Arrival (video & action)

[ It's a little traumatic to go to your nice, cozy home on the outskirts of Ponyville and find it already occupied. But indeed, what Fluttershy hears upon arrival at the front door is... her own voice coming from inside.

She stays just long enough to peek in a window and see herself cleaning things up before she flees the scene.

At which point she decides that the bridge in front of her house is the safest place to take up residence until she can muster the courage to go inside and see what's going on. In the meantime, she examines the new scroll in her possession. ]


[ A video post goes out some time after her arrival. ]

Um. Excuse me. I’m sorry to bother you all… it’s just that… um…

[ She opens her mouth and tries to speak, then glances behind her, offscreen, looking towards what was until very recently her hut. If she had the courage to go talk to her double right now, she would. But alas. ]

I was just… wondering. Well, it’s not very warm right now and… well, if anypony has a blanket they could spare? Just for tonight, I promise.

Oh, this was a bad idea. Never mind. [ The video clicks off. ]


[ The pegasus might be found wandering around Ponyville in something of a daze a little later, hiding under bushes and things while she tries to figure out what's going on. But for the most part, she'll stay under the bridge until it gets too cramped. And then she'll stay a little while longer. ]

Ohh. [ Now that she mentions it, this sounds a little like what Twilight talked about after she went through the mirror. So that places where this Pinkie is from, which is a little reassuring. ] And did it work?

Yeah it did, though it took some doing. The school was behind us, but Sunset Shimmer almost ruined everything!

Wait am I allowed to talk about her now...? Aw well, the Pinkie Promise was officially revoked after all, so I guess I am free now! I'm not breaking one at all!

Twilight, um... told us a few things. I think it's probably okay.

Well, it's very nice to meet you. ... Again. For the first time. Oh, this is confusing.

Oh she did? That's great then, it means you're familiar with her adventure and our world!

[Grinning, Pinkie gave Fluttershy a huge hug.]

[ Fluttershy's only momentarily surprised before returning her friend's hug in earnest. It's little things like this that help her feel like she's home.

Even if she isn't, exactly. ]
