First Attempt: Arrival (video & action)

[ It's a little traumatic to go to your nice, cozy home on the outskirts of Ponyville and find it already occupied. But indeed, what Fluttershy hears upon arrival at the front door is... her own voice coming from inside.

She stays just long enough to peek in a window and see herself cleaning things up before she flees the scene.

At which point she decides that the bridge in front of her house is the safest place to take up residence until she can muster the courage to go inside and see what's going on. In the meantime, she examines the new scroll in her possession. ]


[ A video post goes out some time after her arrival. ]

Um. Excuse me. I’m sorry to bother you all… it’s just that… um…

[ She opens her mouth and tries to speak, then glances behind her, offscreen, looking towards what was until very recently her hut. If she had the courage to go talk to her double right now, she would. But alas. ]

I was just… wondering. Well, it’s not very warm right now and… well, if anypony has a blanket they could spare? Just for tonight, I promise.

Oh, this was a bad idea. Never mind. [ The video clicks off. ]


[ The pegasus might be found wandering around Ponyville in something of a daze a little later, hiding under bushes and things while she tries to figure out what's going on. But for the most part, she'll stay under the bridge until it gets too cramped. And then she'll stay a little while longer. ]

[Huh? That was an odd thing to say. Looking in the direction Fluttershy did, she asks:]

Whatta ya mean? Is there somethin' wrong there?

[So confused, she is.]

[Action]

Well... I imagine everything's in its place, actually.

[ Face suddenly falling: ] Including me.

[Action]

[neighfeni]

[Oh, well now the piece falls into place in her mind. She gives Fluttershy numero three a bashful smile.]

O-oh, Ah thought ya were that one or the one that lives at the Commune...So you're another one...did ya jus' get here?

[Action]

[kind_to_all]

I didn't think I ever left, but... maybe? I kind of miss my animals... [ She comes from Ponyville so she didn't notice the difference, whenever that happened. ]

Do you, um, know her?

[Action]

[neighfeni]

Not as much as Ah'd like to, the one at the cottage went out of town for a bit, an' Ah got real busy with harvest about the same time, an' Ah'm gettin' to know the one at the Commune better. The one at the cottage gave me my kitty, an' Ah was helpin' the other not long ago with some puppies.

[It occurs to her she needs a way of differentiating all of these shy pegasii. Incidentally, she did just mention having a kitty.]

Oh, there's... more than one... [ Her ears droop again. ]

I must be in the wrong place... there can't be a need for more than one of me...

Oh, but is your kitty okay? Is there anything he needs or... no, she's probably... already thought of that?
