[ A red pegasus materializes on Monday morning in the fields outside of Ponyville and she stays there. She sits quietly, eyes closed, waiting for judgment. It's surely coming. There's only one place this can be.

... She gets bored eventually, and attacks the Pocky sitting beside her. That's when she notices she still has her soul gem. ]

[Ponyville is later treated to a short visual message from the newcomer. Kyouko's holding the scroll... sideways. ]

Kay, what the buck are you? [ Her mouth moves wordlessly for a moment. ] Buck. BUCK. The heck? ... Heck. HECK.

Why the buck can't I curse??

[ Kyouko goes stalking through the town shortly afterwards, randomly accosting ponies to question them. ] Hey! You!

A faintly amused smile touches Mako's muzzle as she lifts up one hoof, showing off a watch of some kind.

"Well, why don't you see for yourself? Pretty Cure Metamorphosis!"

In a flash of light, she transforms into Cure Reverie. From over her shoulder, a wolf made out of branches and a red-and-black meerkat can be seen watching curiously.

Ah...

Okay. Yer something else, I guess. Maybe they call that magical girls where you're from.

[ Shrug. ] Whatever. So what can you do?

Reverie would shrug in response, but it took her so long to figure out how that she ended up with an entirely new tic instead, so she just scuffs the floor with one forehoof before replying.

"I have control over electricity and magnetism, I'm tough enough that bullets bounce off me, and I can lift about...two tons? I'm not sure of the upper limit."

Slight pause as she scuffs the floor again.

"Oh, and this power isn't from my world; we don't have magical girls back home."

Impressive. Yeah, okay, maybe you are one. Whatever. How'd you get that power, then? What's the catch?

[etranger]

Hoofscuff.

"A friend gave me her spare transformation device, that's all."

[ Wait. ]

Ya just. Got it, without any consequences. Really.

[etranger]

"Most of the consequences came from the fact I didn't really know what I was doing with the powers, not from the powers themselves."

Uh... right.

{ She's still suspicious. ] Sure ya understand the whole system?

[etranger]

"From what I can tell, the system is basically 'punch monster until it is weakened then purify it with holy lightning'."

Hoofscuff.

"I'm also pretty good at dealing with robots!"

Yeah, but... sometimes that en't all there is.

[etranger]

Reverie detransforms back to Mako and nods.

"Of course!"

Smile.

"It was nice meeting you, and I'm grateful for your concern!"

... Same, I guess.
