Oh, you haven't been through that? Yeah, Twilight accidentally swapped all our cutie marks but hers around while she was studying the Elements of Harmony. I got tied up by animals, Rarity made a worse mess of Ponyville weather than Derpy ever did... you ended up trying to entertain the whole town with laughter, which went exactly as well you'd think.

I told you, Twilight was experimenting with some unfinished work of Star Swirl's. Princess Celestia wanted her to. She didn't MEAN to.

It's fixed. Twilight fixed everything and did the spell right. That's why she's a Princess now. It's okay, all right?

No, it already happened here. Twilight is a Princess here. And if it happens again where cutie marks get swapped, the secret is just to get the pony doing what they're SUPPOSED to be doing instead of what their new mark is telling them to do. It was really easy.

But the problem is that I don't want my cutie mark to be changed. It's my identity, and I'm my own pony. Therefore, no starswirl spell if we manage to get back to our Equestria.

Your Equestria is kind of already off the rails, though. Who knows if it'll happen to you there? And even if it does, isn't it worth a day of unhappiness to help Twilight achieve her destiny?

This isn't about me being unhappy. This is about changing who I am. I'm me and no different, and if anyone changes that, then they're going to have one very pissed off Draconespawn to deal with.

But let's hope that shit doesn't happen in our Equestria.

But that's the thing, it DOESN'T change who you are. It just confuses you for a bit.

Trust me, I've been through that and I've been a different me and there's a BIG difference.

...My cutie mark first appeared when I helped saved Fluttershy from being Nightmare Whisper. It's part of my identity; part of who I am. I would never change it for anything else in the world.

She realizes it's Cruel To Be Kind, but at the same time... she still doesn't want to lose it. Cruelly's eyes start watering up as she begins whimpering like a child, om the verge of crying.

Don't think of it as giving it away! Think of it as... loaning it out! You'll get it back good as new!

Look, in a world where Trixie also has the Element of Magic, things really might not work out the same anyway, so don't worry about it. And if it does happen, just believe in your friends, because they'll be there to help everything work out again. Same as always, right?

[Cruelly sniffles a tiny but more before smiling and nodding, rubbing the tears out of her eyes.]
