The Grand Galloping Gala is a annual celebration, mostly a event held in Canterlot once a year.

And you can get a stipend from the bank and get a hotel room till you find lodging. Stipend lasts for four weeks at 75 bits and then it lowers to 35.

Even as a kid you can go up to them, tell them you're new and get something set up. The tellers know how to work with all sorts of arrivals.

Newcomer trust fund. You get a stipend to live off of before you can settle in Ponyville or wherever you want to go.

Ideally finding something to keep you busy is recommended. The trust fund won't last forever, even for newcomers.

Back home kids got little jobs like delivering newspapers and stuff. If you're too young to get a job, then let the bank know.

We didn't have that in Paragon. It wasn't really safe for kids to go running around alone. There were badguys everywhere. It was still better than where I come from though.

Yeah we don't know why most of our former robot population are usually cats, and/or dragons, and I think there's a mouse too, but I don't think anyone is mostly complaining.
