[Hello ponies. Tails has been turned into a rare male Vulpix. He seems pretty happy by this surprisingly enough by the way he bounces a little.]

Man it's been long since I've woken up in a different form like this. It really feels nostalgic. Like I'm still apart of the community.

Looks like I can count myself among the list of people having been turned into a pokemon at one point or another. I wonder if that means we'll start having weird stuff happening for seemingly no real reason like a virus or having ponies start acting weird?

Maybe I'll even get turned into a mare at some point. It's pretty par for the course at this point.

[He scratches an ear with a paw.]

It'll be annoying not being able to fly for a while, but that's not much different from being human again for the umpteenth time.

Yeah that's me. I'm not really surprised that I would take on a form like this since I'm usually a fox anyway.

You look kinda like an electric mouse with red cheeks.

A mouse? You think? The ears remind me more of a rabbit but I guess the tail makes it mousey. I guess electric powers would explain the zig zag in the tail and the yellow. I almost thought it was just because of my other clothes.

You think these forms really come with powers?

I suppose, but usually rabbit ears are longer than that or at least flop downward.

I would think so.

[He moves away from the scroll to test a couple things out. He holds up a paw and nothing happens. But when he took a deep breath, his eyes start glowing red and fire comes out of his mouth.

Looks like he knows Flame Thrower.

He moves back towards the scroll.]

There's your answer.

Wow. That's not even a little dangerous.

-Dude! That's crazy! You're like a dragon but- a fox.

It should be okay as long as I try to be careful with it.

[He looks at his side.]

I don't look like a dragon.

I guess Fire Fox is a better name for it. You uh- [Wally can't help smirking.] Yeah you don't look very dragon-like in this form.

That sounds like the name of a web browser.

[He shrugs.]

Eh, that's fine. Would be more strange than it is already if I was more dragon-like.

A web browser? [Not what he would have thought of but sure maybe it would be.] Do you have internet in your homeworld?

Haha. Good point. Fox-dragon might look weird. Right now you're... Extra soft and cuddly looking. Got that fancy curled fur thing going I see.

Yep. Computers and internet is pretty common.

I guess. [He looks up at the curl on his head and pokes it with a paw.] Though this kinda makes me look a little girly. I mean, it looks like one of those french bun hairstyles some girls use.

Yeah it reminds me a bit of a poodle- all fluffed up and curly. [Wally shakes with laughter.] Though I'm sure the girls will love it.

[Tails rolls his eyes in annoyance. He expected it, but the idea of having girls chase him around didn't sound so great to him.]

I'm sure too.

Don't let the young fillies see you. Especially that one with the crown.

Good idea. I'll likely be keeping a low profile until this is over.

If you're gonna hide, how about you pick a place where you can test out your powers. We might has well see what we can do with them while we have 'em right? -Maybe between the two of us we could cook ourselves some lunch.

Hmm, but where to? Our homes are pretty much out of the question.

[Since Wally's is a cloud house and Tails' apartment is too small for testing out abilities.]

Yeah. Oooor I guess the shooting range is a good place for testing potentially dangerous things. Don't know if we're allowed to bring food in there but I haven't heard anypony saying we couldn't. I don't know. Do you have a preference?

I don't know. I've never really gone to the shooting range before.

[He shrugs.]

Not really, though I dunno what exactly we can still eat while we're like this. I think fruit might be a safe bet.

Neither have I. I just heard that they put up magical barriers around there to contain any wild energy outbursts.

I'm having bread and cheese cravings myself. I almost ate some of my dog's food this morning too. You may be right about me being a mouse.

Might be a good place to stay until this blows over.

[He couldn't help but cringe at that. That sounded tough.]

Yikes. Well I haven't any strange food cravings yet.

Yeah Bruce didn't appreciate the competition for breakfast.

How 'bout we head over to the shooting range area then. Or move at least before the little school ponies get released.

We should likely both get moving and meet there in that case.

Should be outside of town in that direction. [Wally pointed.] A big walled-off structure in the field. I've seen it flying overhead before.

[He crouches to take a run.]

[And he'll roll up the scroll and get going to meet up with Wally.]

[Wally arrives at the shooting range like he would usually appear most places, as a blur of yellow. This time a very small blur of yellow.]

[It takes a little while for Tails to get there. Not only because he's never been there before, but also because having no way to fly threw him off slightly.

He was so used to have some kind of method of traveling by flight that it made things tricky. It also didn't help that he was smaller than usual.

Either way, he does manage to arrive there.]
