O-okay, everypony! Please just... remain calm!

[ The critters in Fluttershy's cottage are going nuts behind her. ]

I know that a lot of you are... changed. But if there's anything that you need, Fluttershy and I are opening the cottage to you. Um...

And... if anypony does know anything about what... you all are, could you please let us know? Oh, I don't know how we'll find out what to feed you all otherwise...

Action

[ Fluttershy will be wandering through Ponyville in the first half of the week, looking for any newly-turned-Pokemon to help out. ]

[ Six feet tall, which is fairly large to a pony. Fluttershy has to crane her neck to look at him. ]

Ooh... [ She applauds with her front hooves. ] Nicely done, Alastor. You've really gotten used to this form quickly.

I have a bit of experience with changing shapes. I turn into a griffon every now and then to slip into Griffaltar for some shopping, and this isn't really a whole lot different.

Well. The lack of wings is disappointing, but it's not the first time I've been without them.

[There's a tiny eyeroll at Fluttershy's comment.]

I don't feel incredible.

[Although Fluttershy's right about the whole not new thing, that doesn't mean she likes being changed on a whim. She was very happy with who she was originally, why does this world seem to disagree?]

So are we heading back to your place? Not really a party over here.

I didn't know you could do that. Is the shopping really so much better in Griffaltar?

[ Obviously the most important fact here. ]

Of course. I have plenty of room. How does some warm milk sound?

I'm not that great at it and mortals tend to get confused when people change appearances a lot, so I don't do it unless I have a practical reason.

And there's...a few things I can only get in decent amounts in Griffaltar if I don't want to be charged through the nose for imports.

I can work with milk.

[...She thinks she can, anyway. As far as she's concerned, she's just a bigger cat.]

You, uh, think I could ask you for a favor?

Anything. [ She starts fluttering down the path beside the now-larger Arcee, looking around for anypony else who might need help. ]

You're lucky you can change, then. After the weather gem, I didn't think many ponies could get into Griffaltar.

[Okay, how to say this without sounding weird...]

It's been a long time since I've been able to do this, but you think I could give you a ride?

[ Fluttershy breaks into the biggest possible smile. ] Oh, I'd love one! Thank you. [ She flies up to land on top of Arcee's soft fur. ] You miss this?

That's why I bring stuff back from there whenever there's a situation where a lot of people need things like meat. Well, I ended up going over as a minotaur when we all had our own forms back, but they're common enough there that I could pass.

[Arcee lowers her head at Fluttershy's question, but it's more out of nostalgia than any sort of sadness.]

You have no idea.

[Once she feels like Fluttershy is safely on top of her, Arcee races off at a surprisingly fast speed. She's light on those tiny feet despite her large form, so much so that she literally leaps on top of Ponyville houses without any real effort. Her light steps keep them from damaging any of the roofs, like they were never even there at all. This is about the closest she's ever been to flying. On her own, anyway.]

[The other Fluttershy meanwhile is shifting through the closet to pull out all the extra beds. Angel pouts nearby.]

I know Angel, you want your lunch- it's almost ready. But we have to be ready for new friends.

[Ami is still trying to come to terms with being turned into a pony, and has been spending her time reading up as much as she can about Equestria and Ponyville, trying to get an understanding of the world she was now in. What she wasn’t expecting though was to walk out one morning and find Ponyville overrun with strange animals…and a distinct lack of ponies. It doesn’t take her long to realise that the ‘animals’ are in fact the residents of Ponyville.]

[What is concerning her more though is the fact that there are very few ponies left…and why it is that she’s one of them. She’s wandering through town, trying to find another non-transformed pony, when she spots a light yellow pony with a pink mane. Ami awkwardly heads over to her, stopping a few feet away. Approaching unknown people…or ponies…wasn’t really her thing. Unless it was an enemy. Then she had no problem speaking up. She took a nervous breath.]

Um…excuse me? I’m sorry to bother you but…well…I noticed that you and I are some of the very few…er…ponies…that haven’t been transformed into an animal.

[ Fluttershy holds on tightly as they speed over the roofs, glancing down every so often at the ponies and Pokemon below. Ponyville has been changed into an even cuter version of itself. Arcee's moves are powerful below her. She's content to hug Arcee's mane close and enjoy the ride. ]

[ Fluttershy nods. ]

They don't... hate us too much over there, do they?

[ After making the post, Fluttershy goes back to helping her other self set up the cottage. ]

We could have any number of newcomers -- we'd better set up some space in the clearing for them, too.

Oh! Yes... yes, I am. [ Fluttershy pauses in her walk to turn to the new blue unicorn. ] I don't know exactly why. I thought perhaps Discord had done it and just hadn't changed me, but he says he's innocent.

[ ... the pony looks sufficiently disoriented for Fluttershy to worry. ] Are you feeling okay? You don't think this could happen to the rest of us, do you?

[Some of those ponies that haven't changed are really motivated to capture the ones who have! While looking around, Fluttershy will encounter a pitfall trap some overeager trainer set up, with a distressed little voice coming from inside.]

Kir-... Kirliaaaa!

[Inside is a panicked Rise, who's scared enough she's momentarily forgotten how to not speak like the Pokémon she's transformed into.]

Oh no! Um... hold on!

[ She flutters down into the trap and gathers the Kirlia in her wings. ] It's okay. You're okay. We'll get you out of here, all right?

[Eventually the trip lands them at her cottage, Arcee stopping ever so gracefully like everything else she seems to be doing now.]

Home sweet home.

[ A fairly impressive degree of grace, too. Fluttershy hops off of Arcee and touches her leg. ] I'll be right back. I just need to find your milk.

[ And she disappears into her cottage. ]

[The moment Fluttershy slips into the cottage, Arcee takes her new temporarily alone time to lie down. Even if she isn't that tired, she still just ran across a whole Ponyville. Something tells her she should take the rest even if she doesn't feel like it.]

[As soon as she sees Fluttershy, the Kirlia seems almost... relieved? Probably not an unusual thing for Fluttershy, but this time it's not (just) her natural talent with animals. Rise's just really glad to see a familiar face, even if she's still having a hard time expressing it.]

Kirli...

[She clings to Fluttershy, still trembling a bit. She really hadn't expected anypony to go this far!]
