Round five, FIGHT! (Visual)
I know it's been a busy month with the dungeon crawling and everyone turning into Pokemon in the past couple of weeks, y'know, on top of the whole Pale Pony business. But I also understand that not everyone here can fight, which is a pretty useful skill to have given how ridiculous things have been getting here.
[The scroll pans out to where she is at the moment-which is a room in the Dojo, complete with some neatly-stacked towels in one corner and a bright pink punching bag.]
I promise you, there's a lot of problems that can be solved by punching them hard enough. Granted, most of those are problems related to something having it out for you, but there are all sorts of variations on that particular issue. That's why I'm proud to start training anyone who wants to get started on learning the basics at the Night Market's dojo.
We'll be mostly covering unarmed combat with a bit of a focus on grappling techniques. I'm not really the best person to ask about magic or weapons, but if any of you want to branch out a little, I'll try seeing who else is available to teach.
Any questions?

...wait.
Are you a beginner, Pinkie? Because I really liked Punchie Pie's style.

[And she calls her little stag beetle towards her, keen on showing Pinkie a demonstration.
...yup. That little bug just totally suplexed a pony. It's when Gwen gets back up, apparently totally unfazed by what just happened, that she turns back to the scrolls.]
So, how does that sound?
no subject
Sounds.
AWESOME!!! [She may be a bit deceived by Gwen's apparent lack of injury.]

If someone else already has that covered, I could also lend a hand in teaching a class dedicated to focus and meditation for magic users.

[But hey, you've got her attention.]
Was there anyone in particular who taught you? Most people didn't have weapons training where I was from, even if you were taught to fight without Pokemon.
I guess my brother kind of counts if you want to say a prybar counts as a weapon, but it's really. Not.
[Heaviness aside, a crowbar was not intended to bash people's heads in]

[When he's asked who taught him, he has to take a moment to consider his phrasing. It's not exactly like he can say 'Oh, you know, it was kind of a necessary skill if I didn't want demons to snack on me'.]
My father taught me the basics before he disappeared. After that, I was self-taught. It was sort of a necessity where I'm from.
[Or rather, where he was taken. Stupid demons.]
There's something to be said for ingenuity, though. Something like that can be a lifesaving skill.
Besides, half the things my brother uses as weapons aren't really weapons at all. I think that's just a brother thing.
Oh my god I'm so sorry DW didn't notif me this
My stepdad taught me how to catch a wild Pokemon, and the basics of Pokemon battling. Well...just the basics. Guess I was lucky enough that he never disappeared, but he and my mom had to travel a lot for their jobs.
Works out alright in the end, though; turns out the stepdad and I have totally different fighting styles.
...but you'd like my brother if she ever showed up here, I think. He's a little socially awkward, which I'm pretty sure is the whole reason he decided to go for being a Ranger when we were both younger, but he's still pretty cool.
[He's a breeder now. She's not telling Vergil this.]
It's alright!
[He doubts he'll forget Pokemon for a long, long time after being turned into a little pink cat.]
It's always a little amazing to see the variety of fighting styles in the same family, isn't it?
[Considering the fact that his style and Dante's are as different as day and night.]
He sounds like an interesting guy. If he ever does show up, tell him to drop by the tea house and I'll buy him his first drink.

[Granted it'd seem a little... judgmental for her not to accept dragons, but it doesn't hurt to check.]

...okay, if you act like a jerk or if Luna says you're not welcome, I'm gonna have to say no, but you don't look like your name's Zetta to me.

["Pretty sure"]
... So are people just allowed to go work out now, or...?

Otherwise, you're free to use the equipment we have unless it's already been reserved for something else, but we'll give you a heads-up if it is.
