Mission 6: Ring Around Runaround [Visual/Action]

(In a very visible corner of the Crystal Empire is a large, red dragon who sparkles and shimmers like the locals of the empire. Clearly, this guy went out for a swim at one point during his stay...but he doesn't seem very amused. In fact, Dante has the hardest lineface he's put on in a good long time. Why, you ask?

Well, why not ask the ponies tugging on his ear? Or the ones playing in his glorious mane? Or how about the ones swinging on his tail? Somehow, this dragon's been converted to a full on playground and it seems the ponies are taking full advantage of it...and why wouldn't they? It's not often they get to see dragons up close, let alone sparkly dragons that don't attack anyone and don't mind being used as a jungle gym. He at least seems to be humoring the ponies, bouncing a few on his tail, spelling out names with smoke...the works.

And just for an added touch, someone decided to add a little bear mask to him. The size clearly shows it's meant for a filly and it can barely stick to his snout. Somehow, it does.

He rests his head on his hand, tapping his claws impatiently.)

Recreational sports.

(You'd almost feel bad for him, but knowing Dante, he probably did something to deserve it. What, exactly? Well, perhaps it has something to do with a familiar pink pony princess who's also playing with a few of the kids...and Dante's hair.)

Rise keeps her eyes on the ball, and at the very last second, manages to stop it in midair with her magic. Her smile brightens even more at how quickly she's managed to make a game of catch work without hands.

"I'm Rise! And nope... I'm from another world!"

As she answers, she gives the ball another magical toss in the dragon's direction. She didn't really catch that she was talking about the Crystal Empire, but her answer still covers all the bases.

Etranger catches the ball with a wide, delighted grin on her face.

"Oh! Like me! I came here with Mama!"

"Really?"

The immediate image that comes to Rise's mind is another big dragon like the one that all the kids have been playing on.

"That's lucky! I have some friends from home here, too."

[etranger]

Nodding thoughtfully, Etranger floats into the air, heading towards Rise.

"I was the only one close enough for Mama to find, but everyone else ended up in different places too! It took Mama a real long time to find them, though."

She places the ball on the ground and floats above it like she's walking on it, arms held out to the sides.

"Wow... you have a whole family here?"

This is a kind of bittersweet subject for Rise. She didn't have any of her friends from home in the other world she'd been taken to, but she'd gotten really close to some others. Maybe they weren't real family, but they were the closest thing she had. She'd certainly consider Junko a real sister if she ever saw her again.

She's not too surprised at all the floating, but she does sidle up closer to Etranger just in case she loses her balance. Or whatever the floaty equivalent to that is.

"Are you all dragons now?"

[etranger]

Etranger floats along while pushing the ball with her feet, almost like some kind of performing trick.

"Nope! I'm the only Dragon on Mama's team! Unca Hampyre is a 'boar', and Auntie Aeris is a Timber Wolf! Um...Big Bro is something called a 'meerkat', and Siggy is a 'roc', so she's like this really big Braviary now! And Mama's an Earth Pony!"

A pause.

"Um, um...Siggy's really fun, an' we're twinsies! 'Cause she's only a few months older than me!"
