01 Butterflies [Visual]

[Today's scroll is brought to you by a small brown rabbit, who appears very curious as he looks into it.]

Huh...these things are way weirder than the D-Terminals... [The rabbit clears his throat and smiles.] Hey everyone! ...Pony? ...Pony. Right. Hey everypony! My name's Choco. I'm one of Fluttershy's Digimon!

What are you doing?

[The brown rabbit, Choco, glances behind him before scooting over a bit, revealing a green and red dragon giving him a rather exasperated look.]

That's Sprout. She's Fluttershy's other Digimon.

Seriously? Here too?

She's just grumpy that coming to this world apparently changed our forms too. [He turns to her, though still keeps an eye on the scroll.] At least you're a dragon. I don't think I can do much of anything as a rabbit.

[The dragon known as Sprout rolls her eyes, then reaches for him.] All right, that's enough, bunny boy...

But I'm not done....

[There's not much he can do, though, as the bigger dragon picks him up and carries him off. As she does that, Fluttershy herself appears on the scroll. This close up, one can see the dragonfly clip in her mane, and she looks at the scroll with a puzzled expression, as though she's not quite used to using it.]

I-I, um...I'm sorry...about them. Ch-Choco was just...a little excited about following me home...but, um...

I-Is...something going on in Ponyville? Th-There...There seems to be a lot more ponies than usual, and...i-it feels like...

[She hesitates for a moment, not quite sure how to describe it.]

Has...Has something happened lately?

Rainbow Dash...!

[She did notice the extra accessories that her friend was wearing, but she wouldn't have asked about them if it wasn't for Rainbow's other comment.]

Mm-hmm. I was taken to a place called the Digital World. So you were in a different world as well?

Oh yeah, this is number five for me. [She waves away the number like it ain't no thang.] I guess you're doing all right then? At least showing up in a weird new place isn't new, even if it IS Equestria.

Oh goodness...five?

You wouldn't happen to be the Rainbow Dash that showed up in the Digital World, though, would ya?

Y-Yes, I'm doing all right. Mostly now it's trying to find a place to stay...

That's not me, but -- you guys met a different Rainbow Dash out there!? [Aside from the one here, Rainbow had never heard of another Rainbow Dash out there in the worlds, so this is huge news!]

Oh yes...there was a you that came to the Digital World, sometime after me. She received her own Digimon...a-and she and Twilight ended up, uh...together for a while...before Twilight was sent home...

Pfffft. [Rainbow rolls her eyes.] Well, good thing I haven't run into that Twilight yet, that would probably be awkward. Oh, uh, by the way, we have three Twilights, two Rarities, one Applejack, two Pinkie Pies, another me, and two more of you around, last I checked. Just so you know.

O-Oh...wow. I...I knew there could be other versions of us, and I've met one of the other me's...but I didn't realize there were so many of us.

I've met even more when I was out in other worlds.

[She's in her arrogant groove again, delighted to be able to adopt the "experienced world traveler" attitude for somepony unused to it. Everypony here, pretty much, had grown so accustomed to her!]

And they all have weird romantic taste, so don't think you're gonna weird me out telling me what another one of me did.

Goodness...You must have seen a lot, huh?

[She's seen quite a few things herself, but probably not as much.]

Seen a lot, done a lot, been a lot. Didn't pick up any new pets, though! But Tank's a trained battle pet now, so that makes him pretty awesome.

A...battle pet? What do you mean?

I mean he's trained to fight with me. He helps me out with my Limit Break, which is an awesome battle technique.

O-Oh, I see...How does he do that?

Well, for one, if I'm in danger, he can protect me from pretty much anything. He totally saved me when I was fighting Nightmare Moon!

N...N-Nightmare M-Moon...?

[She doesn't have much of a chance to get too scared though before Choco the rabbit pops up.]

That's what Sprout and I do too!

Well...that's what we did in the Digital World. Dunno if we can still do it here...

Tank can sure do it, but we were never in a digital world. A hundred percent biological and real everywhere we went! [As far as she knows.] I hope you guys still can though! Sometimes it's been rough around here.

Well, we may have been digital, but we were still real. We're just made of different stuff.

And we'll do our best!

Yeah, but I dunno how the transition works. Seems to work fine for Twilight, though. Maybe you guys oughtta check, you know, get in some training before it's needed?

Yeah, that' sweat we're planning to do.

Sweet. [She nudges the scroll, as if poking hers could get her a good view of Fluttershy again.] And don't worry, Fluttershy, I totally beat Nightmare Moon, she's not a problem.

[Fluttershy smiled a little. She still looked a bit uneasy about the idea of Nightmare Moon, but she felt a little better with Rainbow Dash.]

O-Okay...

Really! I had to, she was a Nightmare Moon from a different world and she was possessing Twilight.

Sh...She-She possessed ...Twilight...?!

Wh...Wh-What...? How...?

It was all the Pale Pony's doing. It was a horrible trick! If we beat Nightmare Moon like some ponies were trying to do, we'd be hurting Twilight too!

O-Oh no...! So how did you stop Nightmare Moon without hurting Twilight?
