15th Profile - [Visual]

I know with... the current events this may not be exactly the best time, but I'm planning a little bit of a film festival for the future. To that end, I'd like to let you all know that there will be a film contest to be held for short movies, which will be screened to the public. There will also be public viewings of movies with... bigger budgets, to say the least. [Because "better" might not exactly apply here.]

Just letting you all know. Feel free to suggest movies you might like to see, Equestrian or otherwise, and I'll take any suggestions into consideration.

Alastor, I remember talking with you about your movie collection... do you think you could show it to me? Might need to borrow some stuff, with your permission, of course.

Sure. I could use something to distract me from how horrible the weather patterns have been getting, anyway. Drop by the Night Market and I'll get you set up with a cloudwalking spell.

[Funny thing, he's already there, having been patrolling around the area because... that's kinda his job? Maybe? Who knows. Either way, he's ready for whatever.]

*Hey, doesn't mean he's there all the time. But Alastor finds him easily enough, and with a snap(???) of his hoof, a cloud staircase forms up to his castle.*

Lemme know now if you're allergic to demon magic.

Hm... well, I didn't explode when you bailed me out of Los Pegasus, so... I think I'll be fine.

[And testing a hoof on the cloud before walking up.]

A film festival?

[That actually...huh. That actually sounds like it could be fun.]

That actually sounds like a great idea! I mean, you know, if we get through the apocalypse thing!

[Thats...not supposed to be as cynical as it comes off sounding.]

Considering Equestria's current record for "getting through the apocalypse thing", I'm fully confident I'll be able to screen the classics for you all.

*A quick purple glow and that cloud is as solid as...well, solid as Styrofoam, but hey, it holds his weight. The door to the castle is open onto what looks like a pretty typical entrance hall, only made completely of dark cloud. Oh, and lit purely by floating orbs of purple electricity. And with a couple of hippogriffs made of gelatinous blood milling around.*

I...guess that's true! There's a first time for everything though, so who knows! And, uh, I guess a last time as far as apocalypses go.

Man have you got Flight to Fillydelphia? That is like my favorite, bar none.

Nice place. Only slightly more ostentatious than the mansion of someone back on Earth.

[Though, as interesting as all of this may be, York has a mission. And that is to procure movie producing equipment.] Do you think people could use the scrolls as a makeshift recorder? Maybe that would be the way to do it...

Either way, expect at least some recompense for total darkness. The lights will be good for viewing, if nothing else. [York.]

Not sure, I still have to locate a lot of the movies. Alastor's going to help me with that, though. What's it about?

Maybe. Might be able to get some equipment from Applewood, too. There's probably some in the dungeons, but that's hit or miss.

*He trots up the stairs to the balcony, which of course has a doorway and more stairs behind it.*

I have a projector you can borrow, though.

Considering everything I've heard about the dungeons, and my lack of familiar firearm, I'd rather not risk that.
Seems like we're going to take quite a bit of a detour, Zach. Hope you don't mind trains.

That's good to hear. I'll probably have to mock something up with canvas to act as a projector screen...

Could send a group of fighters down there for it. It's where I got a good chunk of my collection.

*He takes a right and heads up a spiral staircase.*

And personally, I've found that white clouds make halfway decent projector screens. But that probably wouldn't work too well out in the open...

I could but... well, I imagine they'd be indisposed, what with the oncoming eternal eclipse. Figure with some grit and the help of the Commune, a screen can be up in no time.

But. What movies have you found down there? [This question is of the utmost importance, Alastor. You have no idea.]

I'm hoping that will be dealt with pretty quickly.

*He reaches a landing on the staircase and pulls aside a portion of the wall. It opens up into a large room with a couple bookcases filled with books of magic, a projector, a white wall, and several bins full of movie reels.*

But I've found a lot of movies, both from my own world and from other people's. Go ahead and take a look.
