You'd think that, but if experience has taught me anything, it's that she generally reacts with cheerful vengeance towards even unwilling kidnappers.

Maybe not, but apparently it's cathartic. Kinda like waiters spitting in the food of annoying customers; doesn't really do anything, but it helps 'em feel better.

I suppose it's good practice for them all becoming demons. This is pretty typical Netherworld stuff...

Heh...I still gotta get over the differences there. The demons where I'm from are usually ruthless and kill just about anyone in their way.

That's more energy than we generally care to expend. Not that we can't, but why go to all the trouble? Besides, once you kill an enemy you don't get the pleasure of them living with their defeat.

Means I'd have a less work to do, if that's how demons worked in my world. Of course, it'd mean fewer daring rescues, but at least the humans wouldn't worry as much.

For the most part. That and the humans who keep wanting to control them. That ends as bad as you'd expect.

Those sorts don't last long in the Netherworld either, at least not if they're messing with other demons. That's crap a competent Overlord will put an end to before it starts wrecking the place.

Well if you want to be technical, yeah. Not everyone's big on video games, though. I don't play 'em much, but then again, I don't have to.

(Because he's in one of the more popular video games, anyway.)
