"Hey. If, uh, anyone here's been having unusually nice dreams lately, it's thanks to Princess Luna."

Pause.

"The one that is currently in Zebrica? Y'know what, let's just give her a nickname, or this'll get confusing. So. If you've been having nice dreams, it's because Woona apparently feels like she needs to do something to make our lives a little brighter after all the recent nonsense we've been put through."

...Mako's ears are flat against her skull. That is a bad sign.

"So now I come to the bad news: last night, I had a chat with Woona in the dreamworld, and, well...some kind of dark spirit of nightmares has latched onto her fear and self-doubt and is working to trap her in the dreamworld forever. So! I'd like to know if there's any way to physically enter the dreamworld and save her, or if I just have to hope there are enough of us capable of lucid dreaming to defeat the spirit on its own turf. Mako out!"

Choco and Sprout glanced at each other, a little uncertain. But when Sprout turns back to the eagle, she nods.

"Do what you have to."

"Just uh...be careful?"

[etranger]

Naturally.

A blue glow settles into place around Sigilyph's body and her eyes light up as she does her best to dive into Fluttershy's dreams.

Meanwhile Fluttershy continued to sleep on, unaware of the same blue glow surrounding her body as Sygilyph delved into her mind.

What the Pokemon would eventually in her mind might be surprising; it is simply a dream of Fluttershy, sitting in what looked like a field on a stormy day, carefully handling a glowing orb in her hooves.

A dream...yet not just a dream.

[etranger]

In the Dream World, Sigilyph takes on her true appearance, her self-image not quite as mutable as Mako's.

Hail and well met, Lady Fluttershy. I have been sent to see why you do not wake.

[strengthinkindness]

She jumps in surprise, looking up at the strange creature suddenly coming towards her.

"Wh...Wh-Who are you...?"

[etranger]

I am Sigilyph; you have spoken to my Honored Aunt Mako before, I believe? When she heard that you would not wake, she feared you had been captured by the spirit of nightmares that stalks the Princess of Dreams and instructed me to come to your aid.

A pause.

Your partners are caring for the animals in your stead, and are much worried for you.

[strengthinkindness]

"...Oh...!"

Of course...! She was still sleeping! Oh, now she felt terrible for worrying others.

But even so, she knew she couldn't wake yet...even if she wasn't where Luna was right now, she couldn't leave her all by herself.

"I'm...I'm all right...Please tell everyone that I'm all right...And I'm sorry for worrying them. But I...I-I can't wake up yet...Not yet."

She hesitated a moment, considering her next words.

"Mako...She knows about Luna, and the spirit that was affecting her?"

[etranger]

It was in her dream that the spirit captured the Princess of Dreams; her first reaction upon waking up was to call upon the gathered wisdom of the Scroll Bearers for assistance in saving her.

Sigilyph hovers in place, considering something.

...I believe something about the spirit has shaken her; she has closed certain parts of her memory to me.

[strengthinkindness]

"The...spirit...Her name is Kagami...She came from Luna's fears and worries...taking a solid form...a new nightmare..."

Fluttershy shudders, the words spoken by Luna coming back to her.

"Luna...she needs our help...Luna gave me this..." She holds up the orb in her hooves. "I...I think I can connect to people's dreams with it..."

[etranger]

...may I lead you to a place of safety before I convey this information to the waking world?

[strengthinkindness]

"Place of...? I-I...I guess so...but where...?"

[etranger]

Sigilyph's...'wings' glow, a bridge of rainbow light forming beneath her. As one end anchors itself in the ground, the scenery around it changes - a small, pleasant little house, a tiny garden behind it, the sun shining down.

This is the domicile Honored Aunt Mako maintains in the Dream World; often have I and my compatriots walked its grounds. It is a place of happiness and industry, where no nightmares can gain purchase; please, feel free to take shelter within.

She gasped softly looking on as the house appeared, changing the scenery of her own broken dream into something happier.

"A-Ah...th-thank you..."

[etranger]

Sigilyph bobs in acknowledgment, giving off an aura of good cheer.

I hope it is to your liking; Honored Aunt will most likely be along as soon as I convey your message.

With that, Sigilyph starts to make preparations to return to her body in the waking world, leaving Fluttershy to explore the Dream House.

Hopefully she'll enjoy the absolutely massive collection of soft plush dolls Mako keeps in there.

Meanwhile Fluttershy finds a comfortable spot in the house. The plush toys do like nice...but she still needs to figure out this orb.
