I've gone crazy. Things like this just don't happen! Not even to us!
Brainstorm, I swear if you had anything to do with this, I'm going to throw you out the nearest airlock. I'm not in the mood for any of your weirdness.
[The only reason why he isn't FREAKING OUT is because he found the data slug with him when he woke up. That's his only comfort in the world, and he's glad to still have it. He can handle being turned into a unicorn as long as it's with him.]
Does anyone have a computer I can use?

[Which, as it turns out, takes way longer than Chromedome expects. Sure his alt-mode is a car, and wandering around on all fours shouldn't be that difficult, but he's unsure where he's supposed to put his long, lanky legs. He figures it out eventually, and is able to work his way out of the obnoxiously coloured little town.
As he approaches the cave, he wonders why he didn't find it weird that Brainstorm was living in one.]
Hey. You'd better be here.
[He calls out, knocking a hoof against the stony ground. His mood is in the pits, and he has no patience for Brainstorm's usual Brainstormness.]
[Action]
I am!
[Currently he was busy hammering away at Swerve's blaster.]
So you got a dataslug problem--well, a lot of problems.
[Action]
I need you to find a way for me to play it. I don't really care about all of this, I just need to hear his voice.
Can you do that?
[Action]
You know I can, somehow.
Like if I generated some form of kinetic energy or thermal energy, I could make a very rudimentary computer with this.
[Kicks Swerve's gun.]
[Action]
But I need to hear him say that he loves me.
[Chromedome has a hard time following the conversation. His mind skips over things Brainstorm says and he can't stay focused. It was so much easier to talk to strangers. At least he could pretend to be okay with them.]
You're a lifesaver.
[Action]
I'll do it, but you know it won't make you happy.
[Action]
[Action]
I'm giving you it anyway, what's the loss in telling me you're happy or not?
[Action]
But I need it. It hurts less to have it.

[Action]
But Rewind believed he could.]
I'm... I'm just trying to handle it my way.
He died six months ago. At what point is the pain supposed to go away?
I know it's not the best way to do this, but I'm doing what I can. I promise.
[Action]
It doesn't. But you learn to deal with it.
So if getting you this message is how you deal with it, then I guess it's better than erasing him altogether.
[Action]
Thank you.
[His head lowers and he glances absently around the cave.]
I'm sorry for snapping at you. You've been more patient with me than I deserve.
You know, if you're not careful, I might end up telling people that you're actually a pretty good friend underneath it all.
