1st Tune [Accidental Visual]

[The scroll is open to show a little filly lying in front of Town Hall. She seems a little confused, and even slightly disoriented as she looks around, before looking down at herself.

When she speaks, her voice is very soft, as though she has trouble getting the words out. One really has to be listening to hear what she says.]

A-Am I in...heaven...?

[Then she slowly gets to her hooves, her legs shaking a little. Her scroll goes completely unnoticed as she lifts her head, before calling out as loud as she can.]

M...Mom...? Mom...Where are you?

[And just as gracefully as he slid in, Teddie looks just as graceful as he lies against the tree he smacked into, his butt in the air. Despite the circumstances, he seems absolutely thrilled.]

AH HA!! I knew it was you! I can bearly contain myself, I think I'm gonna cry tears of happiness...

[He gives a rather fake sniffle for an added effect.]

[And realizing that it indeed was her favorite bear, Nanako gives him a great big smile.]

Teddie!

[She'd go over and hug you, but she still hasn't quite got the walking thing down yet.]

[It's okay, Nanako, he obviously has this whole moving thing down. He shows it off by rolling his way over to her.]

Hi.

[That's all he says the moment he reaches her, deciding it's best to stay on the ground...on his back...and look up at her with the brightest smile he can manage.]

And no one's surprised that you make the cutest pony here! Everyone's gonna be so jealous~

[She smiled shyly, but then it faded as she gave him a puzzled look.]

But why am I a pony?

[Nanako's puzzled look is returned with another puzzled look.]

You know, I never figured that one out. I could think of a million different animals that would work better for you guys. For example, Sensei strikes me more of a lithe yet muscular kitten, with the strength of a hundred thousand men. His secret power would be his big ol' kitten eyes, looking into them would be certain doom. You'll be lost in 'em forever.

[Or Teddie just wants a pet.]

But I think it mostly has to do with everybody in this town being ponies.

Really...? Most people are ponies here?

[Teddie spreads his arms out, motioning to the whole town.]

Take a good look! The town is even called Ponyville, it's like they knew only ponies would come and live here.

P-Ponyville...?

[She looks around again, seeing all the other ponies walking around.]

Oh... [Turning back to him, she giggled.]

But you're still a bear!

But of course~

[It only seemed obvious to him.]

Even ponies know Teddie wouldn't be Teddie if he wasn't a bear.

[Another giggle.] I'm glad you're still a bear...It really suits you.

Yeah, me too.

[He giggles along with her.]

I don't think I could bear those nasty grass sandwiches. ...N-Not that I think you wouldn't have a problem with 'em!

Oh yeah...Ponies eat grass, huh?

[That might take some getting used to.]

[At this, Teddie finally sits himself up.]

Don't worry, Nana-chan, it's not all grass! Ponies also eat cakes and fruits and all sorts of other goodies. Oh! OH! I even work at a candy store!

...You wanna see it?

Oh really? [She didn't know ponies could eat that kind of stuff.]

Okay! Oh, but... [She takes a step, her legs still a little shaky.]

[Hopping up on all fours, he leans against her for support. He's about her size this way, after all.]

Don't worry, I gotcha! Lucky for you, you just so happen to have the bear-y best teacher around. We just gotta do this one step at a time.

[She giggled, leaning against him as she took slow steps.]

Right!

See, you're getting it already! The trick is knowing it's a lot like crawling, only now all your hands are feet.

[You know, all two of them.]

Once you get that down, it's easy street!

[Never mind that his body works completely different compared to hers.]

[Looking down at her hooves, she stepped carefully.]

Oh...! It's like a cat, or a dog!

Ding ding ding, that's right! See? In the end, all animals are kinda the same.

[What is biology?]

Pretty soon you won't even notice the change.

[She nodded.] Okay...

I bet it didn't take you very long to get used to it, huh?

[Because bear suit.]

Nah, I change all the time, one more doesn't hurt.

[Although a part of him will forever worry about his friends currently being ponies. Even Nananko despite how supportive he's trying to be.]

So when we get to the store, what kinda candy do you wanna try first? I don't mean to brag, but I'm a bear with connections~

[She was quiet as she thought for a moment.]

What kind of candy do they have?

Oh you know, just all the kinds.

[All of them. Every single one.]

You're gonna love this, I've never SEEN so much candy in one place.

Even more candy than at Junes?

[That was almost unthinkable.]

You'll just have to see it for yourself~

[After much baby steps, Teddie eventually leads her to Bon Bon's candy shoppe. Just like he said, there's candy of all shapes and sizes on the many shelves. This might as well be heaven, good job Nanako, you really did kick the bucket.]
