Flutter Disaster [visual]

When Hayate appears on the scroll, she looks terrible. Her hair is even more of a spiky mess than usual, there are bags under her eyes, and most tellingly of all, her wings don't look obsessively preened - there are three feathers out of alignment. She opens her mouth to speak and is interrupted by a jaw-cracking yawn, which prompts her to grab what appears to be a tall Pumpkin Spice Latte from the local Starbucks and toss down the entire thing in one gulp before throwing the empty cup over her back to land on a massive pyramid of discarded coffee cups.

"So, uh, guys? That...that, y'know, the thingie where...where people were fallin' asleepy an' not wakin' upppp...."

A slight pause as she almost nods off mid-sentence before jerking awake and slamming down another PSL.

"Is...izzit over? C'n I go beddy now?"

"U-Um..."

What.

"I-I'm...sorry...?"

"'snot your fault, but thanks..."

Hayate yawns, and with the ease of habit slams back another latte. Looks like it's automatic at this point.

"O-Oh, y-you...probably shouldn't drink that..."

[hattrickery]

"'Sfine, s'juss like...like water now..."

[strengthinkindness]

"M-Mm...but it still might make it difficult for you to go to sleep..."

[hattrickery]

"s'fine, i...i dun sleep much anyways...s'lonlee sleepin' by myself..."

[strengthinkindness]

"But you've been up for quite a long time...You should get some rest..."

Hmm...

"Would uh...Would you maybe like some company?"

Hayate seems excited at the idea.

"SLEEPOVER!"

[strengthinkindness]

A blink, then a smile. "All right...That sounds fun."

As long as there will be some actual sleeping.

[hattrickery]

There will definitely be actual sleep, yes. Hayate pushes herself to her hooves, using her wings to keep her balance.

"I'llll...be righ' there!"

[strengthinkindness]

"Or, uh...I can go meet you where you are..."

So you don't have to move...

[hattrickery]

Hayate pauses and looks around.

"...dun know where I am."

...apparently that is...not actually her house that she is in.

Um.

[strengthinkindness]

"...Oh...um..."

Okay. Maybe it would be easier to have her come over.

"Maybe I could, uh...meet you somewhere? Then we can go together..."

So she can walk with her.

[hattrickery]

"Okay! Lemme jus'...jump outta the window...an' I'll meetcha at th' fountain!"

With that, she amkes her way over to the window.

[strengthinkindness]

"O-Oh...! Uh...okay..."

Fluttershy knew the other could fly, but with as tired as she was, she worried that jumping out the window wasn't a good idea.

It was too late now though, so she just made her way to the fountain to meet her.

As soon as Hayate is out of the window she casts Zoom and fairly quickly lands on the fountain.

'On' is the most accurate term - her forequarters are hanging over the edge, while everything below her wings is getting doused.

Fluttershy soon comes walking up to the fountain, blinking as she approaches.

"Um...hi...?"

Any particular reason you're on the fountain.

Because that is where she landed.

"Hiiii~"

Pause.

"...m'legs are all...woobly."
