[Reimi's been pretty busy lately; after Ako mentioned the high school, she'd immediately looked into distance learning like one of the others from Rakuen, and...so far, she's doing alright. But...well, the sheepish look she has when she comes up on the scrolls should say something.]
Ah, sorry I have not been around much, everypony. I have been busy with working and school...
Incidentally, I...need some help on the latter. Math I am good at, what you might call 'Social Studies' is alright...
[Her face falls as she uses her magic to levitate some schoolwork, a golden glow surrounding what looks more or less like standard English I, if English I was Pony I instead.] But this Equestrian Modern is uprooting me. I had trouble with English back at Rakuen, so I suppose it is much the same...
Would it...be terribly much to ask if somepony might be willing to help me? If you wish, I can pay for it or thank you in some way. I just...do not wish to fail this class, and the one other I know from Rakuen taking the classes is terribly busy...

Equestria's written language is remarkably similar to English, if not all but identical. I may have the time to offer lessons.

[He takes a look at the book and considers it for a moment.]
I might be able to help you figure this out, if you'd like.
[Visual]
[Oh wait, did she wanted help with something? Oh well.]
[Visual]
Yes, I went to school in one of the other worlds I ended up in, where I turned into a human. I did not get a chance to finish before I went back home, so I wish to continue my education.
[Visual]
Nnnngh, now I'm all jealous. I almooooooost went to school here, but I ended up getting a job instead. But everyone else seems to be going now...
The temptations grows stronger, I can FEEL it.

Was it hard for you to learn this language, Ako-san?
Re: [Visual]

[For some reason, she thought of Reimi as older than school age! Though... even if she is, she could probably take classes if she needed them, right?]
I used to study English back home, but the Equestrian classes here are pretty tough! Like, I'm okay at the stuff about stories and characters, but then we do vocabulary or composition...
[She lets out a long sigh. It's frustrating, especially since she's technically repeating a few years here. She shouldn't be struggling this much with middle school courses! Though, they are really different from the ones she took back home...]
Anyway... I don't think I'd be much help. I'm not really any good at math or history, either... and you're probably a few years ahead of me.
[So much self-deprecation when it comes to school... she might not even bother going if it weren't for Cirno and getting to feel a little more normal again.]
[Visual]
[At mention of vocab, Reimi nods firmly.]
Yes, the vocabulary is simply awful! English and Equestrian Modern are so different from Japanese, are they not?
I do not believe I am much older than you, though, Rise-san. How old are you?
[Visual]
[She's really settling into the comfortable normalcy of complaining about school here. But then... Reimi has to ask the question. The one she's avoided for months. It's just that she never knows how to answer... should she say how old she was back home? By the time she left Exsilium? As a pony? All three are different answers!
Fortunately, there's an easy way to dodge all the complicated parts.]
Oh, I'm in middle school! Seventh grade.
[An answer which, on second thought, isn't very different from just going along with her pony age. Maybe she should just forget about the others and do that for now? ... It still feels weird, though...]
Aren't you older? You said you were finishing high school...

Perhaps I can now in turn
Share what I know from when I studied
To make your education less muddied.
no subject
Are you good with parts of speech and such of that ilk?
no subject
I sometimes speculate for fun
That they shared a distant root
So what I teach you should suit.

And risk none of the Everfree's wrath
I'll welcome you to my place
Where learning is the danger you'll face.

Ah...perhaps...if it is not too much trouble, we could meet somewhere, then? It would be more trouble if you had to rescue me, after all.
no subject
No reason you need a forest scare.

[A few moments later, Zecora receives one (1) crayon map! It's not that great, but should work for the zebra's purposes.]
Will this suffice?
no subject
So long as you do not try to hide.
[Smiling, Zecora tugs her coat off the hook by the door, then snaps it around over her body.]
no subject
No need to worry about that, Zecora-san. I shall be out front in a bit to greet you.
[Right after she puts on water for tea. One cannot have company without tea. It isn't proper!]
