[The last few days have been interesting, to say the least, but this morning, when Ponyville awoke to find itself normal once more, sans a few ponies, it seemed, everyone (and we do mean everyone) would find small baskets at their doors. There's no sign of who might have left them, beyond a personalized note to each that was hoof-typed. Inside the baskets? Treats and goodies: cookies, candies, foods...if the mysterious benefactor knew preferences, those were there. In each instance, there's also a hoof-made scarf for the coming cold, in a variety of colors, all with cutie marks sewn in (if those weren't present, flowers or designs were instead).

For a select few, there are more personalized baskets, and those get to meet the mystery mare later in the day:]

To Ako: Ako's favorite donuts, cherries and mango pieces dipped in chocolate, cupcakes, some music related items, and a gold double-eighth note charm.
To Applejack: Cookies, Nephenee's own apple cider, lots of tasty foods, a voucher for hangout and lunch, Neph's treat, and a charm of an apple.
To Arcee: Lots of fishes, a nice kitty sweater, cookies, and a motorcycle charm.
To Bertie: Bitter candies, some of her shortbread cookies he likes so much, a nice blue tie, and a bee charm.
To Cadence: Teas, cookies, and a winged heart charm.
To Cirno: All her favorite goodies, some school supplies, things for her room, and a snowflake charm.
To Coco: Fashion books, flowers, cookies, and a needle and thread charm. She also get's Kreutzer's bow charm, and a small Kreutzer plushie.
To Dante: Fresh, chocolate-dipped strawberries, voucher for pizza and booze outing, and a charm of his dual pistols.
To Fluttershy (OU): Animal supplies, knitting books and supplies, some cookies, and a butterfly charm.
To Gwen: TEAS, some beauty supplies, and a boxing glove charm .
To Lethe: Fishies, whatever treats Lethe might like, stuff for her room in the upcoming house, and a bell charm.
To MayTwi: Teas, books, chocolates, coupons for hugs, and a star charm, like the stars in her Mark.
To Minato: Coffees, food prep items from Neighpon, some weapon care supplies, stuff for the house, and an engraved charm of the Fool card.
To Patchy: Teas, cookies, BOOKS, and a book charm with her sigil engraved on it.
To Rainbow Dash (AU): Cookies, Daring Do books, and stuff for the new house, along with a charm of her cutie mark .
To Virgil: Teas, books, cookies, and a charm of his sword.
To Yayoi: Pony science texts, teas and noshings from Neighpon, and a charm shaped like a plesiosaur.

All charms come along with a lance charm.

Before they meet up for their run, Morgan's going to find that there's a knocking on his window...
Yes. His window. On the third floor.
Not many here that can do that, so he can probably guess who it is.

The scroll opens, but no one is to be seen. Rather, you can see for miles outside of Ponyville, atop this hill, and she shifts the scroll to show a basket of goodies. Cookies, chocolates, books on many subjects, and a note.

Dear Cálice,

Today is a day for giving thanks, and I've given all the folks I'm thankful for baskets. But I realized you need one too, so here's a basket to show I care about you too. No matter what you've done, I believe everypony needs a friend, and I want to be one to you.

Please enjoy these, especially the books. I know how much you enjoy knowledge.

If Morgan wanted her basically braindead and confused and maybe a little twitchy, he had succeeded. All the Sentinel could notice in the odd state of mind she was in was this hot, tingly sensation coursing through her, the feel of his heart and breathing, minute muscle movements...

Yeah, she's doomed.

"Your neck really IS a vulnerable area," he teased after a couple of minutes, breath hot on her fur.

What is this feeling, so sudden and new...heaven help her, she hadn't a clue!

The sound of his voice brought her enough out of the haze to nod, still hyper-aware of all the sensations around her, and a small shiver went down her spine at the heat on her throat. Saying she was defenseless right now was a bit of an understatement...

"N-necks...u-usually...are..." Her voice was little more than a soft stammer, while she tried to get her head back on straight.

If Morgan was the sort to take advantage of a defenseless girl, he would never have been able to get this close to her in the first place. He lowered his head, resting it against hers with a smile she could hear but not see. "I don't think I'm that bad. Then again, you haven't tried yet."

"Not..sure Ah'd...survive that..."

And as much as she wanted to try...she actually did have to go...at..some point...plus, she honestly wasn't sure her brain could handle this fuzziness much more.

Nuzzling against Morgan's neck in a sort of peace offering, Neph sighed. "Much as Ah wanna stay..." A hoof ran through his mane, teasing it. He had such soft hair... "Gotta have time to find a good recipe for quiche an' such...can't have my Knight goin' hungry."

Morgan really thought he could keep her here, lured away from her responsibilities and duties, for as long as he wanted if he really tried. And doing so would have been so easy, with letting her go being so difficult.

Still, she would never know the depths of the struggle that went on in his head, because the outcome was preordained. Sighing, Morgan wrapped his hooves around her to roll them both over again, putting himself beneath her -- then, with a gentle push of all his legs, he bounced her upright. "A little hunger would have been worth it, you know."

Need wasn't the same as want; she certainly didn't want to go...

Back on all fours, the soldier gave Morgan a fond, if apologetic, smile, ducking under his head so she could give him a nuzzle, before moving so his chin rested on her neck, and her head on his. "You'll have so much attention from me then, you'll be sick o'me." She joked, chuckling. But she wasn't in much hurry to pull away...ugh, responsibilities. "Get kissed out an' all." As if that was ever a danger!

"I triple dog dare you to try to get me 'kissed out'," Morgan said, rolling his eyes dramatically. "And I'm warning you, if you don't actually get moving, I am just going to pin you down again. I'm only human, Neph!"

Obviously that wasn't technically true, but -- well, she could only imagine how hard it was to let her go when nothing was stopping him from grabbing her and kissing her some more.

"Alright, alright. Ah'd better get goin', else nothin' will ever get done!"

Sneaking a quick smooch, Nephenee trotted over to the open window, before looking back to him with a smile. "Ah'll let ya know when Ah'm makin' the stuff so ya have some warnin'. Ah might even make another batch o'cider for ya~" With a hoof on the sill, the other went to her muzzle, as she blew the Akashic a kiss. "See ya then..."

Okay, maybe now his hormones could stop churning quite so bad. He blew her a kiss back. "I'll look forward to it."

Luckily, he didn't say the first thing on his mind, as easy as it had almost come out. That was a thought he still had to save.

Blissfully oblivious of what he was thinking, Neph bobbed her head in agreement after 'catching' the kiss. "Me too. Later, darlin'~"

With that, the Sentinel hopped out the window, bouncing gracefully down the roof. If he looked out the window, Morgan might have caught her hopping up and down in glee for a moment, before she took off for the Commune. She had things to do before their date!
