[There's been a new face around today, for what could be seen of him considering the mask and cloak he wore. After arriving he had spent a great deal of time looking around and getting used to walking on four legs; the wings, which at the moment were underneath the cloak, would wait until later.

He had also done a little poking around with the scroll, and watching other ponies go about their business. And at the end of the exploration, all he really had was one question, so he opened up the scroll to ask.]

I get that magic can do a lot of things. But how exactly do horses build things without fingers?

Normally yes, but offworlders with magic have been able to use theirs just fine, even when they're other species or races altogether.

Well I mean it doesn't sound like we build things too differently from humans, man. I mean we have engineers, and architects, and construction workers. We got specialists who make it their job to get this work done.




A lot of it is magic though. Everypony isn't wrong when they tell you that.

Well everything is a little magic with us. It's hard to explain, you know? It's just something ponies have and can do. Pegasi usually work with the weather, earth ponies with the earth, and unicorns just...have any magic.

[And lord it over all the rest is something she has to fight back saying. It's still too ingrained a part of her thinking.]

Uh, that being said, earth ponies are usually the ones who're best at working with their hooves, though a lot of engineers tend to be pegasi because of the Weather Factory.
