So it would seem the sleeping crisis is over. I'm glad that mess has gotten sorted out; it got in the way of my announcement. I wish I could have done this sooner, but there is not changing that now.

I'm sure you all remember the fun times you had during Hearts and Hooves Day, especially a select group of you who were 'encouraged' to go out and have a date.

[Nope, not bad news, nor anything serious.]

I do hope you all enjoyed it. It took me a while to set that all up. In the end, however, I feel things turned out far better than I had expected. I had intended it as simply a veiled way for you to make a new friend, but some groups may have gotten a little more out of it~. I could not be more pleased, and I look forward to both your thanks and your angry letters.

Ah, and Tails? Reimi? I am terribly sorry for the incident with the cloud. I overestimated the strength of the enchantment; had it lasted a half-hour longer it would have put you down on the ground before wearing off.

True, but putting them in a situation where they have to make friends can take away the importance of that friendship than if it happened naturally.

I never said they did. Part of the reason I put in into the context of a date was so they didn't think I had the goal of friendship as an option. Just a little but of psychological manipulation.

...The fact you had to use any kind of psychological manipulation kind of puts it a negative twist on it.

Almost every form of communication involves psychological manipulation to some extent. I'm merely more up front about it afterwords.

It went all right. Awkward at first, but after a while we warmed up to each other.

It...wasn't bad. The overall designs of the robots work for the game, and once the jumpscares wore off, the game itself was pretty decent.

And here I was hoping they would get to you after a while. I underestimated your resolve.

Sorry. My brother's made scary robots than those.

Yeah, a younger brother back home. He's a really smart kid. He's only 14, but when I...when I left, he was accepted into the university I go to.
