Why did I wind up in a barrel again?

[There's a small green-clad child climbing out of a barrel, soaked in water. He takes his hat off and with a practiced flick of it, removes the water from the long hat.] I should really find something else to wear, Grandma did a good job with it but outfit's getting threadbare.

[Looking up into the sky, he shielded his eyes.] Land everywhere, new sky, this isn't the Great Ocean or New Hyrule... if we even find one that is.

[He pokes at the fallen scroll.] Hey, listen! I'm Link, and I need to know the directions to the nearest dock. I'm sure Tetra's waiting for me to get my sorry behind there.

Uh yeah, and hmm... if you have side quests I can do, please lemme know? I don't have my wallet of rupees, it must have fallen out when I landed in a barrel.

Hey it's fine, I'm missing a talking boat who was the King of Hyrule in disguise. So we're even.

I'm Link by the way. Just like the legendary hero, though people have been calling me the Hero of the Winds since I took down Gannondorf.

[There's a slight shuffle on his end as he rubs his arm somewhat awkwardly. He has no idea who the hell this kid is, but at the same time, he really misses talking to that kid. Even a doppelganger will do...]

[Those clothes. The stature may be different, but the clothes...they're ALWAYS the same. So over Ganondorf comes, nabbing Link by the collar and dragging him somewhere where nobody can see them, chucking him into the dirt on arrival.]

[Link makes a usual noise for him, a cry between surprised and OMG HEARTS EXPLODING. He gets up and stares into death. Fear rose in his throat and then...]

[Yeah he got lippy, but that's Tetra for him.]

[And he whipped his arm around from where he had landed on it, holding out his hookshot. He fired, not at Gannon's hand or chest, but right between his legs. And then he clicked the retract button and let go. Knock knock sucker.

With that, Link was running like a good little hero.]
