Fourteenth Starfall [visual, dated after Native!Luna's post]
So, hey. I've got a question, now that th'world is back to what passes for "normal" 'round here.
What do you do if it turns out that you've been livin' a lie all your life? Not, like, in the Mayfield sense, but... what if you thought you were a hero and you turned out to only be hurtin' people, or...
[Flare goes quiet, and glances away.]
...or what if you believed you were cursed, only t'find out it was all in your head, and you were only holdin' yourself back? What do you do when you find that sorta thing out?
[Private to Zetta]
Hey. Overlord. I wanted to apologize for not believing you and assuming you were the one who let Grand Lord Suckface out of Tartarus. Seemed like the sort of thing you'd do in order to get his power for your own, or t'create a threat so that you had your own personal army at your beck and call.
I was wrong. In order to make it up to you... well, I ain't about to become your minion or suck up to you, but if you wanna take Rarity someplace fancy sometime, just lemme know and I'll work out all the bullcrap with getting you some spots. Your drinks are covered for the next month if you want to come down to the Decanter, too.
So... sorry.

[Don't think she didn't catch that musing, and will get to it later. Important things first, like trying to explain 'destiny' to someone in a world where magical pictures don't openly display what you're good at.]
Well, how the hell'd you get the name Finevoice?
[No offense, Harvey.]
[action]
Honestly? After everything I've seen here and in that other universe, I probably live in a goddamn comic book.
Re: [action]
[Flare's still rolling around that other part in her head, contemplating it.]
Flying, though? I fly like a brick through a window. No speed, no grace, I'm just... a big slow lug.

[Going by his own logic, maybe that wasn't part of the comic? Ugh, he hates this.]
Yeah, I dunno, it's the wings. [He wasn't really suggesting it WAS her special talent. He thinks she flies just fine, but he's an earth pony; she would know.] Weird pony tattoo symbolism ain't my strong suit.
Does it even matter what it means? I mean, you already know what you're good at.

[She doesn't know exactly how the kid's show works, just that Harvey's apparently filled in for him in the past.]
It'd still be a weird thing to find out.

[In a world where anyone believes people HAVE a single destiny, anyway.]
Does this kinda thing happen often? Seems like it must sometimes.

I'm sure I ain't the first case, but... well. [The pegasus sighs, nuzzling at Harvey.] Usually your mark shows up in pretty clear circumstances, like when you're hit with inspiration, or perform some sort of amazing feat, somethin' like that. If you'd been a native pony, yours woulda shown up when you first decided you wanted to get into singin', I figure.
Mine happened when a punched a bird in the face. Th'hell was I supposed t'think?

Maybe it's something... [Harvey trails off, as he realizes that train of thought doesn't make any sense either. He was going to say it might have involved defending the town, just in general and not necessarily in a violent way, but that's what was going on with Tirek too.] ...well, did you notice it right THEN, or after the whole fight was over with?
