Okay, so I know this isn't normal, I mean, where did all those humans come from anyway, and why are there so many ponies here now?

[He's gesturing now.]

I mean, sure, Twilight messes up spells all the time, no offence Twilight, but even this is pretty extreme. More like a Discord thing.

And why do I keep seeing double? Pinkie and Rainbow Dash, is this one of your pranks?!? [He glares at the scroll and crosses his arms again in a huff.]. Not. Funny.

Well...in this Equestria...none of that had happened. It was the same up until Twilight became an alicorn...that's when people from other worlds came to this place, and things became a lot different...

[Spike throws up his arms in exasperation.]

You mean this Equestria didn't have to deal with Tirek?? Geez, how did we get stuck with that? I mean, dealing with a few extra ponies instead...that doesn't seem so bad...

W-Well...actually I...I'd heard that this world's Tirek had come...but there wasn't a Tree of Harmony to help out like there was back home, so...they had to take care of him some other way...

Well at least we weren't the only ones who had to deal with that guy because that would have been totally unfair.

Wait, but you said that it all changed after Twilight here became an alicorn. How do you know about the Tree of Harmony?

I'm...actually from the same Equestria you are...I dealt with Tirek back home with the others with the help from the box, and about Twilight's castle...

It was after all that that I came to this Equestria...

[That still doesn't quite make sense to Spike. Although, he's glad somepony remembers what happened in...well...their Equestria.]

But...we've only been here like...a day. How come you already know everything that's going on? Did another pony fill you in? Would have been nice to know stuff right at the start.

I've...actually been here for a few months...

Time passes different sometimes between worlds...those from the same world can be taken at different points of time...or from the same point and brought in much later...

Even though you and I come from the same time...I was brought here a while before you came...

[This was really over Spike's head. He takes a deep breath trying to understand everything Fluttershy was telling him - after all, of his six pony friends, she was the least likely to exaggerate.]

Okay, so if you've been here a few months, why did I arrive so late? Are Twilight and the other here too, from our Equestria?

[If he had been brought in last, well. That was a kick in the dragon snout. So much for Number 1 Assistant if he hadn't even been here to assist.]

I'm...really not sure. Some people just arrive at different times than others...I know Applejack and...one of the Rainbow Dashes are from our Equestria...I think it's just them, though...

The Twilights here are different...none of them from our Equestria...

[Spike shouldn't feel glad that he wasn't the last one pulled here, because that meant that he was needed for something. But it definitely didn't feel right being there without Twilight. He wished they'd arrived together...]

So...Rarity, Pinkie and Twilight are still back home? Do they know that we're missing?

[Spike's hoping that his Twilight will be trying to fix the problem from their end, although from what Fluttershy was saying...the other three might not even realise they were gone! That was a depressing thought...]

And...you said other Twilights....are they all staying at the library?

[Suddenly Spike doesn't know where he belongs, or where he can go.]

Are...are there any other Spikes here? [He almost doesn't want to know the answer. Meeting himself would be...more than weird.]

Most likely they're back home, but...no, they probably don't notice we're missing. When we're taken from our world, time kind of...stops from that point, until we go back...even if others are brought from a later point in time, they'll never have noticed we were missing...

Mm...no, I don't think so...I heard that the Twilight of this world has been traveling Equestria...some important business that Princess Celestia asked her to take care of...The other Twilights are staying either in the commune, where a lot of those from other worlds are staying, or with friends somewhere else...

I...think there's only the Spike native to this Equestria...
