[Unlike other posts which appear automatically on your scrolls, this one is quite patient, seeming to wait for ponies to actually read it. When the scrolls are opened, though, the following message shows up in regal, well-calligraphied print:]
Greetings to you all. I find the name 'newponies' to be slightly unpleasant, so I shall call you simply as you are: new citizens of Equestria. My name is Princess Luna, sister to Celestia and ruler of the night. Believe me when I say that I do indeed know your plight of finding yourself in a strange new world, a place where you do not know where you may fit in without finding trouble. However, my sister has told me that, more than anything, I will be of aid to many of you where she could not. I have had to rapidly adjust to modern society in Equestria, so while my troubles may not be identical to your own, I can certainly relate to your woes. If thou wouldst have any questions you wished to extend to the Canterlot court, then I shall do my best to answer them.
We trust that things are well in Ponyville, or wherever you may lay thy head at night?
[Luna has left the 'post' open for replies of all sorts, though she will generally be replying in writing.]
My fellow Equestrians!

[Aside from being a genius and a pegasus, he feels kinda useless here.]

[Unlike most ponies, Luna doesn't seem too confused by the mention of any of those. There's certainly a passing recognition in her tone.]
I would suggest that perhaps you could build one, yet I know that many ponies prefer to do things through their own power instead of machinery. It is quite a conundrum.
However, I have heard something regarding engineers at the Cloudsdale weather factory. Perhaps a mind as scientifically minded as yours could assist. Barring that, we will always welcome any feedback that is given regarding possibilities for returning everypony home.
Re: [Visual]
Hmm. I have been meaning to visit there, but perhaps it couldn't hurt to see this factory. [He nods.] Yes and if my help is needed, feel free to ask me. I'm willing to do what I can to get us all home.

For example, while the idea of an aircraft is a splendid way of introducing a common ground between unicorns, pegasi, and earth ponies alike, there are ramifications that must be considered. An aircraft disrupts the sky, both interfering with the delicate weather they set up to keep the land green, and potentially being dangerous to any pegasus in the path of such a device as well. Cars, likewise, would require smooth roads that a carriage does not, and would be difficult to steer with simply hooves.
Re: [Visual]

That said, you sound as if you are an inventor. Perhaps you could continue to contemplate things that would indeed help the pony lifestyle.
[She's trying to be encouraging, Tails, she really is.]
