Hey everypony-er everyone. If you don't know me already I'm Wally. I'm another one of the humans brought here from another world.

Would any of you happen to know a place hiring workers or need to hire someone to help you out? I'm in need of a job so I can make more bits. Gotta be able to pay for food.

Mr. and Mrs. Cake were nice enough to let me run some errands for them in exchange for a few meals. -Sugar Cube corner has amazing baked goods by the way. You should go there for a meal if you haven't already.- But there aren't enough orders for sweets across town for them to need delivery constantly and their employee Pinkie Pie takes care of that half of the time any way. Sooo... Yeah. I'm looking for a job.

Yeah it is rather strange. Too bad my talents are kinda useless at the moment unless I either re-invent the airplane or learn how to build old-school trains.

I know that feel Bro. I don't know if my talents are any good in this world either. Maybe we'd both be best off learning about those old trains. Or I don't know... Looking in Cloudsdale for mechanical needs?

That does sound like a good idea. I've been meaning to visit Cloudsdale anyway since it sounded like an interesting place.

I've only been there once so far. There's still a lot I haven't seen. Not sure what sort of technology they have there other than whatever is in their weather factory. -Still hard to wrap my brain around that part of it.

A weather factory? I suppose it makes some sense, though what I would like to know is how they got around the risk of things falling through, or how they managed to keep the buildings stable? Especially if they were producing some big storm.

Well the Cloudsdale city seems to be on a really thick large cloud so you'd have to work at it to drop through it. Gotta wonder how the city itself stays stable like you were saying. I mean if they're on a giant cloud how do they avoid getting blown around? Everything about the local clouds is confusing. _[headache]

By the way Dude, can I ask you something about when you got sucked into this world?

About what happened the day before I got here? Well, I wasn't doing all that much. Well aside from being stuck as a robot because I did something stupid.

Oh. A robot? Really?

I was mainly wondering if you were awake or not just before coming here. I was asleep.

Yeah. Last time I ever mess with DNA or try to be a mad scientist.

I do remember shutting down so I was asleep too.

Thanks for telling me. That helps. I'm trying find out how many of us were unconscious when it happened.

_{[Wally has come across his fair share of DNA messes in just the past year alone. He doubts Tails did any thing as bad as the mad scientists back home.]}

For some reason, I felt unusually confident the day before and decided to build a machine designed to change a person's species. I thought it was fine using myself as a test subject since I felt so confident. The machine worked, but it caught fire and I had to put it out before it could burn down my workshop and house. I wasn't able to fix it.

That's serious undertaking! Did you really find a way to change DNA just like that?

I did read a theory on it once yes. I hesitated before on trying out the theory before because I was concerned that it could get someone stuck or the machine would break. Apparently I decided to disregard that and it happened anyway.

[He sighs.] At least that proved the theory true, but it's too dangerous. I should destroy the machine when I get home before it could fall into the wrong hands.

It does sound dangerous but if it could turn me back into a human I'd give be tempted to give it a go. If we don't get turned back by other means, your experience with that could come in handy you know.

I would hope when we were sent home, we would be back to normal.

I suppose it would. But even if I got to work properly, there's the risk of it getting stolen and into the wrong hands. [As much as he doesn't like destroying his creation, he knows it's for the best.]

When you get back you'll know if the machine is needed or not to solve the pony problem. Then you can destroy it along with any notes or blueprints. That should take care of it.

...Still, what was I thinking? That could have killed me.

Don't be too tough on yourself. You learned your lesson. You're not the only one to unintentionally endanger yourself conducting experiments. I actually ended up in the hospital one time when an experiment went wrong. It happens to the best of us.

Oh yikes. I almost want to ask what happened, but I won't.

[While he was kinda curious, he understood that Wally needed his privacy.]

Oh just a chemical mix up in my family's garage.

Obviously I survived.

[He can't help but shake his head at that.] Sheesh. Mixing chemicals can be pretty dangerous, especially if you don't know what you're doing.

Yeah. I learned my lesson the hard way.

That's good. Did you get grounded for it?

Yeah! Mom and Dad were so mad I thought I'd never see the outside world again. -Or a science lab inside.

Can't exactly blame them.
