Hey everypony-er everyone. If you don't know me already I'm Wally. I'm another one of the humans brought here from another world.

Would any of you happen to know a place hiring workers or need to hire someone to help you out? I'm in need of a job so I can make more bits. Gotta be able to pay for food.

Mr. and Mrs. Cake were nice enough to let me run some errands for them in exchange for a few meals. -Sugar Cube corner has amazing baked goods by the way. You should go there for a meal if you haven't already.- But there aren't enough orders for sweets across town for them to need delivery constantly and their employee Pinkie Pie takes care of that half of the time any way. Sooo... Yeah. I'm looking for a job.

Yeah. It seems the weird marks we've got match our talents. Pretty weird isn't it? That we can be biologically marked with something that isn't from nature.

Yeah it is rather strange. Too bad my talents are kinda useless at the moment unless I either re-invent the airplane or learn how to build old-school trains.

I've only been there once so far. There's still a lot I haven't seen. Not sure what sort of technology they have there other than whatever is in their weather factory. -Still hard to wrap my brain around that part of it.

A weather factory? I suppose it makes some sense, though what I would like to know is how they got around the risk of things falling through, or how they managed to keep the buildings stable? Especially if they were producing some big storm.

Ah yes, I remember you. I've actually been looking for a job myself... This place doesn't seem to have a market for mercenaries, so it looks like I'm back into ze medical profession. If you're looking for vork, you could alvays assist me. I'm afraid I don't have much to offer at ze moment, but I can at least offer you somesing if you let me run a full physical on you.

I'm not educated in medicine- only first aid sort of stuff- so I don't know how helpful I'd be to you. I mean, if you need another pair of hooves or someone to run out and do errands for you I could handle that.

Not sure if I need an exam. Aside from being a tye dye horse I don't feel sick.

Ooh, you seem to have mistaken my intentions. Zis is not to see if you're sick--I just vant an asletic specimen to study so I can learn about pony physiology! I've managed to study Unicorns by examining myself, but I haven't gotten to look at a pegasus yet.

They seem to use magic to accomplish many of the things we would do with machines. Unfortunately, most of my skills do tend in that direction... [He gives a little, rather self-deprecating smile.] I suppose you could say it came naturally.

Not a great deal, no. I saw them, anyway, they look rather more antiquated than anything we had in Kon Ran.

I used to work in a factory there, mostly because I thought it was rather irresponsible to make humans work that close to molten metal...but they don't appear to have those here, and even if they did I would likely set my fur on fire.

You know you might still be compatible with technology here. They use magic for a lot of stuff- you're a unicorn. That means you can do the magic thing too doesn't it?
