It is a far cry from the comforts of home. But I cannot hold that against its people.

I guess it would be. It is for me too, but possibly in a different way. Not everyone used to be ponies before they came here, and it's a big adjustment and this place has a lot to take in. The people here are nice, though.

I was five years in school, just like anyone from my time and place.

It's pretty normal in the time I'm from. I had to be at the homestead and help out a lot, there wasn't any time for school.
