What I have gained is newfound knowledge of who I am, and how I am defined by my achievements, not my failures. This knowledge has granted me far greater control of my darker impulses, as well as acknowledgement that those impulses are still part of who I am, even should I deny them.

I admit, I did not expect other royalty to be amongst those who were brought to this Equestria. How do you fare?

I find your Ponyville to be quite the relaxing place. Perhaps I was merely in need of a brief vacation from my duties, but mingling among the people is a pleasure I rarely receive.

The nobles I currently deal with are less tiresome than the previous lot [the previous group got to be 'previous' by attempting a coup and failing], but even so, it is a welcome change to speak with those without pretensions.

I believe that you shall find that even the nobility in Canterlot is more the pomp and circumstance variety as opposed to the cloak and dagger variety. I am glad you are using your time here to center yourself, however.
