[Looks like he's calmed down considerably.

Which isn't saying a whole lot. He's holding a stuffed animal to the best of his ability, his ears are laid back as usual and he's pouting.]

This place is still stupid as shit. But I guess I'm supposed to get used to it or something. [Because that's what Fai would praise him for.] I'm looking for someone called Rainbow Dash, so... yeah. Someone help me find him. Or her. Or whatever. I need help figuring out how to fly right.

[This is probably a good idea, since the few times he's tried, his powers kick in the second he's off the ground and he starts bolting through the air.]

I guess that's fine. I'm Lovino, and normally I'm a... [Hmmm... he puffs up a bit.] Normally I'm a mutant from Xavier Institute. And an awesome one, too.

Never heard of Xaveier Institute. Is it in the United States? Then again we might be from different worlds.... You don't happen to have superheroes in your world do you?

[He snorts.] It's in New York, and it's a school for mutants so that's probably why you haven't heard of it. [And then he tips his head to the side.] I guess mutants are kind of like superheroes. We've got powers and shit like in the comics. But some of us are supervillains, too. But I guess the government and humans are the main problem... I'm not sure exactly what they were up to, but the school got attacked a lot and my bo- my friend.. always looked really worried about it. [Whenever he let his guard down, anyway.]

...What about you, are there mutants in your world?

Humans who ended up with superpowers? Yeah. We've got several alien heroes and villains but most of them are human uh... mutated or not- it varies. Sounds like we come from different worlds but similar ones. I'm from the Central City area in Missouri.

So... do you have a superpower then?

Missouri is a shit state, just so you know. [But don't take it personally because he seriously just hates America.]

My superpowers are speed and sound. And vibration, I guess. Mostly speed, I've got the most control on that. [Read: It's the only thing I have control at all on.] My little brother and I both have speed powers, actually. He's the only person I know that can race me.

_{[Wally gives a sarcastic laugh in response to the comment about his state. He's a fairly proud American superhero after all.]}

Wait- Speed powers? Like moving really fast? And vibration and sound...?

Hell yeah. [He spreads his wings so he can puff up with pride.] I can go faster than a good car if I want to. [Or need to, more likely.] And I can vibrate my body and shit around me, I can blast shit with my voice, and... I was trying to teach myself how to make sounds louder or quieter but I'm crap at that so far, all I know is I can do that. Sort of.

What about you, are you a human or a superhero?

_{[Wally switches his scroll to private as non chalently as possible.]}

Well I'm not a mutant but... uh... My city's local hero, The Flash has similar powers to yours. The super speed and sort of the vibration too. Your sound power is a lot like the hero Black Canary's Canary Cries. Any way... Let's just say for now that I have a bit of an... insider's knowledge on the topic for...reasons. Um. This conversation would be better carried out in person privately.

Don't know how it works in your world, but in mine, superheros and their loved ones hide the heroes' true identities behind masks and titles most of the time. Keeps the villains away from their personal lives. If I'm going to tell you any more, I need your word man to man that you'll keep what it secret.

[He tips his head to the side.] In my world you're supposed to, but some of us really can't hide that we're mutants. I know one girl that had eagle wings sprouting out of her back, and this other girl that had to have headphones on all the time because she could hear across the city and the sounds real close to her hurt. And this one guy was so mutated that he was a damn turtle. [He grimaces.] But we're supposed to keep it a secret, because the government's trying to get rid of us or something. And even without that, lots of kids get bullied for their powers. Me included. Personally I think there's a lot more secrets to worry about than superpowers.

[And then he perks back up.] You can trust me. It's not like I can rat you out to anyone important, I don't even understand how the horse government works yet.

_{[Wally nods and gives him a smile]}

Sounds like you understand how serious this is. I'll tell you then.

Mind meeting up to talk face to face? Don't know how familiar you are with the town or if you got in any flying practice yet but the edge of the forest is clear usually. Or if you can fly you can come to my cloud home.

Flying. Yeah. That's funny. [He lays his ears back.] I'll meet you near the edge of the forest. You can tell me about your superpowers there.

[Because really dude could you make it more obvious.

Though he won't push it, and instead speeds over to the forest to wait.]

_{[Lovino isn't left waiting long. Wally soon appears or rather Kid Flash does, diving down from the sky in full costume.]}

That local hero back in my home city, The Flash. He's my uncle. And I'm Kid Flash.

_{[And he's proud of it thank you very much!]}

Kid Flash, huh? [He snorts.] That's a pretty lame name, isn't it? I like Wally better, and that's saying something. [He smirks.] In my world we were supposed to chose codenames too, but I never figured mine out. Neither did my brother. We never really hung out with normal humans that much to begin with. Did you just get your name because your uncle told you so or something?

"Speedy" was already taken. I took on the name proudly with respect for the Flash. Someday I might be the Flash. There's a legacy of speedsters there in Central City area. I'm next in line for the title but for now I've been learning how to be a good hero from the man himself as well as other heroes from the Justice League. The League is an organization made up of superheroes that basically protects the entire earth. It's serious business.

_{["So quit laughing at me so much Dude."]}

[Ahem.] Well at least you have a codename. And I bet your costume looks cooler when you're a human. [He bounces a bit.] And hey, you've got a good future. My school is taught by the X-Men - they're supposed to be really important or something - and there are courses you can take to be made an X-Man yourself, but I've always slacked out on everything, so I never got into those teams. I dated someone in them, though, that's as close as I've ever gotten. [Awkward laugh.] My screaming powers kind of get in the way of a lot of things I could do.

Are your screams too loud to be controlled or something? Black Canary once explained to me and the team that she had trouble with her screams when she was young. But she learned how to control them and now she fights easily side by side with everyone else.

I used to have to get the windows in my room replaced every week or so. [He mumbles.] They're not that bad, usually, they just hurt your ears a lot. But if I get really scared I just start screaming as loud as I can and breaking everything. And... a lot of things scare me. And I've... killed someone before with them. By accident. The first time I ever used it... when I was five. [Awkwardly pawing at the ground lalala...] And since then I've gotten a few people in the hospital with my powers, too.

Sounds a lot like what Black Canary went through. Hmm... Are you at least able to aim them at all? You know, use your screams to break stuff or take out a bad guy in front of you instead of it getting to everything around.

I don't know how much I can help you out with the screams but if you want some advice about speed that's a whole different story.

Not really... it mostly goes in one direction but still hurts in a circle. [He winces.] And it's gotten strong lately so I don't even have to scream, if I'm upset things just start breaking around me.

But... I don't really have to worry about it as long as I'm careful, right? And I think I've got my speed mostly under control. My big problem is.. fears. I'm scared of everything and my powers only turn on when I'm scared. Except for speed, I've kind of figured out how to speed without really being scared. Even though I can't go full-speed yet. [Yeah. None of that was full-speed.]

_{["This guy's powers are a crazy trip into physics. At least that's something I know well. But can I help him out?"]}

Fear of "everything?" _{[He tilts his head.]} Do you have a lot of phobias or... Just tend to be nervous?

[He grimaces.] I'm scared of... lots of things. And nervous all the time. So it's kind of... both. [He tips his head back as he looks for a reasonable explanation.] Have you ever had a feeling, like when you're in enemy territory or something, where you just know in the back of your head the whole time that there's a million ways you could get killed the second you let your guard down? [His ears droop.] That's... how it feels for me all the time. And sometimes I just start thinking of how people near me could get hurt. And.. I'm scared of heights and spiders and demons and the dark and stuff like that, too, and that doesn't help either. But... I guess it can get fixed, I was getting therapy for it at the school. Mostly because... I tried to run away from the school and drag my brother with me. And once they taught us the school was really pissed off. [And getting a lecture directly from Charles Xavier's brain to his was kind of terrifying.]

I'm no psychiatrist but I'll do what I can to help you out if you're up for it. I've been in a lot of the sort situations you worry about. Stuck in enemy territory overseas, stopping bank robbers, fighting super villains... I'm pretty sure my own teachers would say the best thing you can do is make sure you're prepared. So uh how about I teach you a thing or two I learned in my experience?

[He shuffles a bit.] Well.. I guess that makes sense. [He chews his cheek a bit before nodding.] Sure. Go ahead.
