As the scroll turns on, it pans over a complicated-looking array of pulleys and levers before revealing Mako, her mane mussed and hat askew.

"Hello! I've been setting something up, and I thought I'd broadcast the first attempt, see if it worked!"

With that, she turns the scroll back to the array, revealing that set within them is...a mirror? Humming softly, Mako places the scroll in a portion of the array and begins chattering as she starts to operate it.

"This is something I got in the dungeon before it closed up in April - a relic from my homeworld known as the Reveal Glass. I thought it might be interesting if I set things up to project what's reflected in the mirror onto the scroll, since...well, you'll see in just a few seconds, so why spoil the surprise?"

Indeed, the scroll has been manipulated so that the interior of the Reveal Glass takes up most of its available visual space as Mako moves around underneath it, positioning herself to reflect in the mirror.

"Tah-dah!"

On the scroll, a young woman grins confidently, her blue eyes sparkling merrily.

"Moderately so, I'd say? I think they're regular mirrors that have been blessed by Landorus or maybe Reshiram, one of the two."

There's the scrape of a hoof against the floor as the reflection shrugs.

That is quite the interesting item. I have to wonder, however: does it work through the scroll's visual function?

"No, from here it looks one-way only. Just as well, though - there are probably people that'd prefer not to have their true forms known, don't you think?"

Suffice to say, while interesting, I don't think I'll be getting near the glass any time soon. I had some... issues the last time something like this had happened, with the fog, and I'm not exactly keen to experience it again any time soon.

That said, good on you for finding it. Might be able to shed some more light on our situation here... or be a novelty. Who knows.

I wonder if you could use that to take pictures or video of our real forms. You could offer to put together a special in Noovesweek that shows the real forms of everyone that's interested, or even just start a service that lets people take pictures and video for their friends.
